"Not even 10 minutes into my son's session, his therapist before asking any icebreakers to try to get to know him and make him feel uncomfortable. She asked him a few times if someone forced him to be there. I know you can’t make kids talk, but they did teach you how to open up to them, right? Way to make him uncomfortable before it started. Very disappointed with this. He actually said he wanted somebody to talk to, but because he wasn’t already comfortable with her, it just wasn’t a good fit."

"Terrible... simply terrible. Was recommended Elite DNA through a friend for help with my ADHD. They said that they had a great experience with them and that everything could be done via Telehealth, so no in-office visits! That sounded great to me, so I decided to give them a shot. Safe to say, my experience was nowhere close to great... I called to make an appointment for ADHD diagnosis. Was told it would take three weeks for an appointment. Once I got through a couple appointments, I was prescribed ADHD medication. Unfortunately for me, the office where my Telehealth meetings are based out of are nowhere near my house. So no pharmacies will fill my prescription! I live in Sarasota. They have an office 6 miles from my house, but the office I've been working with for over two months now is over three hours away! I've called multiple times expressing my dilemma with little to zero help/solutions to my problems with getting the prescription filled. Asked if I could drive to the local office and pick up a paper script to drop off to the pharmacy. Was told that because I haven't been seen by them, that was a no go. Was told that it would be a 3-6 week process to transfer to the local office ONCE I filled out all the transfer paperwork. I had to jump through countless hoops just to even get an ADHD diagnosis just for it to be all for naught. And good luck trying to even get in contact with any of their offices. The website says that their offices are open until 5pm but seems like they stop answering the phones all together after 4pm. I've left voicemails, no one ever gets back to you. You pretty much have to call at the right time and are blessed beyond belief if someone actually answers the phone. After my experience over the past two months, it's safe to say that I won't be using them anymore. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else."

He struggles with OCD and can be difficult to treat without a provider who is willing to listen and be knowledgeable in their field. I have been so grateful to find this office and Dr Jose Cancio. I feel he always listens to our concerns and adjusts medication accordingly. I am so appreciative to find a great doctor!
