"Why I call to make an appointment today just to find out my provider is no longer with the company and they take my insurance still but the provider there do not. So if I would not have called I would have been clueless. But the crazy thing is I have health issues going on and now just thrown on the streets to find another provider. So unprofessional"

"I saw NP Erickson at my first visit. After months, couldn't get info on meds being approved, but a test I didn't need was approved. On my followup appt, I got a call 2 hours before the appt that my provider had left the practice. I rescheduled with the remaining provider, Dr. Rodriguez. She walked into the room challenged me on everything - I don't know if you have migraines so all I can say is that you state that you have migraines, I don't know if you have diabetes. Did you bring labs? No. I need the meds and labs. At this point, I was tired of being confronted and barked at, so I left. Stood up from the room, told the doc she was rude and I left. I've also contacted my insurance company that if they file for anything it's fraud."

"My doctor is great, and I feel I am in good hands with her. But if you have chronic pain, I will warn you about Alexis, one of the staff members. One day, I fell while walking my dog and had to have my neighbor pick me up and use my office chair to wheel me back inside my apartment. I of course scheduled an appointment immediately after bc this was due to severe pain that should be remedied by my prescribed medication, but was not. The man I talked to on the phone to schedule the appointment initially was great and I wish I remembered his name. But then, a woman calls back named Alexis. And she tries to convince me to cancel my appointment, saying she doesn’t know what I need it for. Mind you, I had already told the man prior all of the details of my fall and why I needed an appointment and he informed me that he wrote it all down in my chart. And I repeated this to Alexis. But she still kept asking “Are you sure you want to keep this appointment? The doctor’s already given you so many referrals. I don’t know what she can do for you at this point.” But I stood firm and told her that I wanted to keep it, just to find out the real reason she was calling was just to get me to do a simple reschedule. Her suggestion to cancel was completely unnecessary and unwarranted. And it’s a good thing I decided to keep it, bc when I spoke with my doctor, there were 3 crucial things we needed to discuss that related to figuring out why I was having such severe pain. And thus led to better care and understanding between my doctor and myself. If I had canceled that appointment like Alexis wanted me to, I would have been much worse off and probably needed to head back to the hospital within the next few weeks without the new medication my doctor prescribed during that appointment. I relayed all of this to a higher-up at the doctor’s office and he had me file a formal complaint and said someone would reach back out to me within 48 hours. That was on September 13 and no one has talked to me since about the incident. It is disheartening as a patient for someone who isn’t even your doctor to just randomly decide it’s her business whether you need care or not, and to try to convince you against seeing your doctor, especially for something as serious as a fall. I’m 23, I should not be falling and unable to get up. And my doctor recognizes that and is truly concerned. But Alexis couldn’t care less, and will go out of her way to tell a patient that they don’t need the help of their doctor, when that is not her job at all. Edit, 10/03/2023: the reply to my post is meaningless. I emailed them the day the reply was posted and never got any response. That was just for show, and the issue remains unsolved."
