"I unfortunately had the same experience as others that have posted a review. Within 10 mins of us arriving, she is already making very unprofessional, criticizing comments. I walked out after letting her have it, leaving my husband there until they finished the session. Do not waste your time or your money. Terrible experience!"

"Tried to establish as a patient with my boyfriend to discuss weak areas of our relationship. Every time we shared personal experiences with the therapist, she would react with either a scoff, a laugh or make a face. Made us very uncomfortable and felt like she was laughing at us and judging us. When I asked her why she was doing that, she just changed the subject and stated how much she condones us for trying to get help through therapy. Unfortunately, did not receive much help, will try someone else that is a little more professional."

"Terrible! Please be aware. I had an appointment on Monday received a reminder threw their automotive system on Saturday at 8 am I quickly reviewed my patient intake policy via email where it stated they were only open MWF from 9-2pm, I called at 9:04 am Monday morning to reschedule and she said she could not reschedule because I was not in the 24 hour time frame , after stating to me that she would have seen my Saturday response this morning( Monday morning) and that she had not even turn on her computer for the day yet,(clearly I was ahead of time) After I asked her to give me Ms.Bissit email and that I would be leaving a comment her words were “no skin off my back”.(yeah! I bet, because this is not your business you don’t care about what happens) she started raising her voice at me and demanding that I do my patient intake alone instead of with my spouses, I decline. I told her she can keep the money. I’ll find another counselor. What a way to start off a Monday... thanksgiving week."

"I'm so glad we have Lisa from Lakewood Ranch Family Counseling for a therapist! My husband and I have had only a few sessions and i know that we still have a lot of work to do but the changes I see in my husband and I as a couple, as well as in myself, is amazing! I did some things that I never thought I'd do... Ever! I truly forgave my husband and learned to move on from the past. For the first time in my life I forgave someone the right way. I find Lisa, as well as LWR Family Counseling a true blessing and have no doubt in my mind that we were placed with them for a reason.
