"My name is Cherish Rayburn madian name Jones. Dr. Jerry Barbosa was my doctor when I was 11 years old. I was diagnosed with Acute B-Cell Leukemia. I was diagnosed June of 1985 and was given until Christmas to live. He was a awesome physician. He explained to me and my mom what I had to where we could understand what was happening and what treatments that I had to go through and what was going to happen after. I had to have a Bone Marrow Transplant. The Bone Marrow Unit was not complete then and I needed it as soon as possible. Dr. Barbosa had me and my family go to Stands Hospital in Gainsville to have my Bone Marrow Transplant. I have my Bone Marrow October 3, 1985. Dr. Barbosa and Dr. GranPol stayed in touch thru out the time of sickness. I was able to return home Janurary of 86 I'm now 46 years old. I celebrate every year with my baby brother and family My baby brother was only a year old and was the only one compatable to me. It has been 35 years Thank you Dr. Barbosa"
