"Saw him after getting abnormal lab results from my primary doctor. He went over all my diagnostics and basically told me maybe it's leukemia. Had me due another pile of expensive lab tests and I came back for a follow up. My lab numbers still showed Leukocytosis and his response was, "well, I don't think it's leukemia, I think this is just a normal range for you. Come back in six months and we will check again." really? I literally started crying in his office because I was so frustrated and I was hoping for better answers than that. I've been dealing with Leukocytosis for a while and I feel horrible and that's the best answer you can give me? I reached out to him via the patient portal and his nurse called me and apologized for the way that he made me feel. Never again will I return to him. He downplayed my entire health struggle. I'm currently seeing new doctors trying to get things figured out. Just because your a mayo doctor does not mean you know better than me. I live in this body and I know when something is not right. Very disappointed."
