"While Dr. Patel and his medical assistant have been friendly and great the few times I have met with them, I cannot say the same for other staff in the office. I was first seen in March and was overcharged not once but TWICE totaling around $75 overpayment. When I returned for a visit at the beginning of June, I was FORCED to make ANOTHER payment of $66 to be seen otherwise they told me I would have to reschedule until I could goes to pay. I myself have worked in the medical field for 10 years and while it is one thing to collect deductibles up front, it is an entirely different matter to give patients no choice but to overpay and then continue to hold their money hostage after the insurance has long processed the claim. I have cancelled all appointments moving forward and will be taking further action to receive my refund."
