"We have been taking our son to Nemours for a little over 5yrs now. The staff and Dr. Bechtel are outstanding! They are patient, kind, have the best bedside manner and overall are very personable. We have never felt like "just a number" as they take the time to not only get to know the patient but the family as well. We have never been rushed through an appointment, even when they are extremely busy. When we are at Nemours, with this Ocology team, we feel that our son will be treated as the staff would treat their own family. When faced with such a difficult, unexpected diagnosis, our world was completely turned upside down. The team of Doctors and nurses were there to ensure us that they were on top of everything and when they said "Let us worry about the treatments and getting your son better. All we want you to do is love on your son and continue to just be parents", they meant it!" Our son has been Cancer free now for a little over 3yrs and we are very appreciative for Dr. Bechtel and her team for not only getting us to that milestone but continuing to be the best after we reached it!"
