"The worst decision I ever made when I moved to Sarasota was to retain Abrams as my OBGYN. I started to experience gynecological symptoms and pain. Throughout 5 visits to her office over the course of 2-3 months, with the same complaints persisting, I never once saw her. I never once was offered an ultrasound. I always saw a nurse who wanted to put me on antibiotics. Turns out I had a huge ovarian cyst that over the course of those 3 months was allowed to grow so big that it caused a torsion. I lost my right ovary. Years later I am going through infertility treatment because now my husband and I have struggled to conceive. Whether there is a correlation or not, there was lack of standard of care by this doctor. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone."

"I'm a new patient here. I've actually never seen Dr. Abrams. I see Gretchen who I absolutely Love! She's friendly, funny, and very knowledgeable. I can understand the issues with the office staff, but I'm a really patient person. I had my IUD put in and when I walked out to the front office I almost passed out. The office staff was really attentive and helped calm my husband. When I returned 2 weeks later for my follow up they remembered me and what happened and asked if I was feeling better. I think when you show kindness and understanding you get that in return. I feel bad for the people who had bad experiences. If any of you are still patients you should see Gretchen! Love her!!!!!"

"Dr. Abrams is a great doctor! She has been my doctor for many, many years! She has gone through a rough patch with her office staff lately which she is dealing with and things seem to be better. It is hard to be a business owner and all that goes with that but as a doctor she definitely gives great patient care and will listen to your concerns. I would recommend her to anyone."
