"The nurses/staff are great, but I would not recommend Dr. Hargrove. Our appointments felt rushed and I didn't not feel like I could ask questions. I saw her for ongoing issues, which she was not able to diagnose or treat. I also had a bump which had been bothering me for months. Dr. Hargrove felt it for a few seconds and said it was a swollen lymph node. She also had poor bedside manner, and did not explain what she was doing as she examined me. Months later, I went to a new provider in Connecticut who was able to give me a diagnosis for what turned out to be a somewhat common GYN issue. And turns out the "swollen lymph node" was not a lymph node at all, just a bump from a different source of irritation."

"update : STILL calling and no answer !!!! Have been trying to make an appointment for 3 weeks. Out going message is in a loop no way to leave a message. Get it together you guys - this isn't a good look for a seemingly professional practice. The other OBGYN's in the same practice calls ring -ring ring and when finally someone picks up - they straight "hang up on you", are they over-worked that they can't follow basic human decency - pay more or get better front desk staff personal."

"After having a hysterectomy in October 2020 with Dr. Indermaur (also with Women’s Care practice), I was sent away with a prescription for synthetic estrogen and told to follow up with any hormonal problems that may arise with another specialist in the practice. I went on to experience what I have now learned is called a hormone storm and dealt with severe anxiety and depression which was made worse by the hormone pellet injection that was recommended by Dr. Hargrove and other docs in the practice. While the hormone injections work well for many women, it was the opposite for me. Dr. Hargrove’s office refused to accept that my worsening issues could be caused by the hormone injections and I luckily found the Docs Outside the Box practice next. After testing my hormone levels they were shocked to find that I had not been given any progesterone and that my testosterone levels and estrogen levels were off the charts. They explained that they had seen many patients like me who dealt with adverse effects from the pellet injections and after they balanced my hormones with bioidentical hormone replacement daily losenges, I felt like myself again and felt great. I wish that considering my history, that the doctors in this practice had been more considerate and caring with my post hysterectomy struggles. I do feel very lucky to have found my new doctors who completely understood my situation and knew how to heal me."

"The office staff is great, but Dr. Hargrove left a bad impression with me. During my appointment, I brought up a concern and was brushed off. I ultimately changed over to another dr with the same group and when I called to discuss a concerning medical condition while still under her care until the new dr could be established, I was told that I could discuss it with my new dr at that appointment in three months."

"This was my first time at this office and I was very impressed. It was super easy to get a appointment and the staff were very accommodating to my schedule. My appointment time was at 3. I arrived 15 minutes early as noted for new patients and was greeted with a warm and welcoming front office staff. The facility itself is clean and well put and I checked in with ease. I only sat about 5 minutes before being called back to be seen. When I got back to see Dr Hargrove she took the time to sit with me and get to know me and my areas of concern and answer my questions. She is wonderful and caring and really takes the time to get to know you and listen! It is very hard to find a gem of a place like this one. All of the staff front and back office are just delightful and professional and I highly recommend Bay Gynecology and Dr Hargrove for your care."
