I then drove 40 minutes away for my appt. since I really trusted her. Then, I found out she moved again without notification. "So my first appointment with Dr.Wood has was weird. She was very unkept and all over the place. All I could think is she’s in some kind of pills to keep her going and it was not a comfortable situation so that’s mainly why I decided to switch OBGYNs. However there as been an entire 2 weeks of back and forth because the Dr sent my prescription ultrasound to the wrong location. I’ve had to spend 2 days searching for a location that would accept the ultrasound prescription with my insurance (IT TURNED OUT TO BE A SISTER HCA HOSPITAL LOCATION) you think that they would have known that seeing how when I called the radiology and ultrasound place to schedule an appointment the intro says the work with West Marion which is the hospital Dr.wood seen me in for my first appointment. two days from then Dr.woods office still had not sent over my prescription which is outrageous because this particular appointment has to be done while I’m within the 18w-20w stage of pregnancy. So I am now 2 weeks into my wait for this appointment. I’ve decided to drop the DR and change insurance to someone that’s more reputable in my area but any FIRST TIME MOMS I figured I’d leave a honest review as it did take me weeks to find and choose Dr.Purti as my OBGYN but when you go to her it will actually be Dr.wood that sees you."
