"I am a New Humana customer since September 2018. It is a Medicare PPO , which I was told included Dental. I was to have a dental procedure last month. My Dentist checked coverage and was told it would be paid/ covered. I called and was told it was covered. I had the procedures and Humana only paid for one quarter of the amount. They are now saying only 1 quadrant can be done each year. ( so , it would take four years to complete if they were to pay) I went to this Spring Hill office to ask for help, and the rep told me "Well , you have a Medical Plan and it is not really a dental plan". Excuse me? When I agreed to this policy , I was told it included Dental, my card says Dental, and you want to tell me I now need a Dental Plan? ( besides the fact that our calls to Humana verified it would be paid ) It was pretty rude. A little "we are sorry , that you may have been given wrong information" could have gone a long way . Do not trust any insurance reps who work directly for a Company."
