"I took my 1 year old son here as he has had a very high fever and seemed to be in pain. I was warned by a family member who recently went here not to see the man Dr who's name starts with P. They said they were rushed out by him and didn't feel he cared. By the time the doctor came in and said his name, it was too late. I just wanted my son to get seen at that point. He told me not to pay attention to the numbers on the thermometer. I've never been told that in my life and do not believe it. He told my family member the same thing. My son just turned 1 year old and his temp was 105*. They can have seizures from their temp being that high. He was quick to inspect my son and said there was fluid behind his ears and prescribed an antibiotic. 3 days later my son has had horrible diarrhea and a rash. I called his pediatrician last night when the rash appeared and told her I had taken him to this location and what had happened. She said "let me guess, he was seen my Dr. P, " I said YES, is that bad? She wouldn't say just said she could tell and to stop giving him the antibiotics and that she thinks its a viral infection and bring him in today. Took him in today to find out that he has Roseola. I will not be returning to this location unless a different doctor is working. If you read more reviews for this location you will see we are not the only ones who have had an issue with this doctor. His ears were not infected, there was just fluid behind the ears from the viral infection (Roseola) that he has been experiencing."
"I went with my daughter for very bad cough , ear infection, runny nose and fever . Not a regular cough, my daughter was coughing very hard at home, seemed she was going inside out , dry cough to the point she vomited . Her oxygen went down to 89. A doctor, he is skinny , brown, told and bold told me to let my kid have fever , to let her cough all she wants, and that she didn’t have ear infection. 24 hours later I am here at home with my daughter , her ear hurts a lot, she has fever , 5 days now , and I paid a $175 copay for nothing. What a horrible doctor and service."
"It’s very unfortunate that this place is as terrible as it is, because it’s so much more convenient than going to a hospital. To start, I arrived with my son who was very sick. The receptionist was too busy watching tik tok to notice we were standing there waiting. Once we finally were taken back, we were seen by Dr. Patel. Who I was hoping was not on that night because we’ve not had great experiences with him in the past. While he is pleasant, he doesn’t listen and speaks over you. He came in and asked what was going on, but didn’t hear a single word that came out of my mouth- as he was too busy trying to win over my son by pinching his cheeks extremely hard and tickling him which clearly made him extremely uncomfortable. He doesn’t take social cues well as he continued despite my son’s obvious misery. I was so distracted by him, I couldn’t answer any questions he was asking , not that he was listening anyways. He had made up his mind my son was fine before even examining him (or lack there of). For as much as that bill will cost- he could have done more than literally look at his throat, ears and ask him to jump up and down. That was the entirety of his assessment. He was in and out of the room in no less than 2 minutes tops. Mind you, we were nearly the only patients there at the time. I understand doctors are busy, but at least pretend to be interested in your patients and what their family is telling you. When my family is sick, I trust doctors to put effort into their assessment and diagnosis, not brush us off like we’re not important. I will not be returning."
"I wish I read the previous review. I took my autistic son there and it was an awful mistake the short white man with white hair told me it was NORMAL for autism kids to scream he was just screaming I did not need to come to the ER because he was screaming. Honestly, I should’ve left at that point, but I needed to remind myself that he was the low man on the totem pole. Probably not even the nurse and fought back tears, because I knew how much my child had been suffering for four days. Up until the time I was driving him to the ER. My son was acting abnormal screaming and crying to the point he lost most of his voice He was calm by the time we got to the ER. I explained to them what was going on, and I did take h to his pediatrician less than 24 hours ago, who advised me to take him to the ER should’ve taken him downtown.. I won’t mention the ER doctor by the name who walked in, but she was also very curt and told me that it’s hard for the ER to diagnose him since he doesn’t talk, and there’s no apparent signs of pain anywhere. , and I should see my regular pediatrician. I explain to her he’s the one that sent me in upon witnessing his behavior at the previous office visit. He agreed with me that there had to be something going on because that was not my son’s behavior in the 13 years we have been after 4 long hours and a $300 co-pay, I left just as clueless as I went in. I would advise everyone to stay away from this hospital. This is basically a glorified walk-in clinic"
