"Dr. Pak and his whole staff are absolutely amazing. My daughter had to have emergency surgery and we were an absolute wreck. He explained everything in depth, in the middle of the night and took extra time and care with our daughter to make sure for the future she would be 100% back to normal. And on top of that had a lot of empathy and care for the situation which doesn't always happen in the medical field. I am so grateful to have had the absolute best care for our daughter in her time of need and will be forever grateful everything turned out ok and she will make a full recovery. "If it were just about the surgery, there would be a better rating. Precise, professional surgery performed on my daughter. It was a very stressful day, to say the least. However....... perhaps Dr. Pak isn't familiar with FMLA, nor the impact FMLA has on working parents. My daughter was released same day, yet due to her sliced abdomen, she could not get out of the bed alone, much less make it on a toilet safely. I stayed with her a total of THREE DAYS.....three. Being a single dad, I also needed to administer medication and check for bleeding (per the paperwork). In order to obtain "coverage" from my employer for those days missed, I provided Dr. Pak's office with a 4 page FMLA letter, 18 days before it's due date. On June 30th, the last day, I received a call from Dr. Pak's RN stating Pak REFUSED to fill the paperwork out, stating "I don't qualify for FMLA". Perhaps Dr. Pak isnt familiar with his role and FMLA, but he is not the administrator, and he does not decide what I'm approved for. I just needed him to write what the paperwork stated for me to do, and sign the papers. AS A RESULT, I am now looking at corrective action for missing 3 consecutive days of work, which will end up costing me THOUSANDS of dollars in commision, which I have to use to pay bills. THANKS DR. PAK for your work, however, I hope to never see you again."

"Dr. Pak saved our 4 month old baby girl when she presented with a left congenital diaphragmatic hernia. He spent so much time with us explaining everything and answering every question we had. He always made us feel like we were all in this together. He is very intelligent and knowledgeable about CDH, which certainly put our minds at ease.
