"Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever been. I’ve had multiple outpatient surgeries. The staff is rude and condescending. They lost my medical equipment after the procedure and didn’t offer to replace. The staff is beyond incompetent. I would strongly caution anyone who would ever decide to have a procedure performed at this trash can. I’m surprised they are still in business. I as well cannot understand how they continue to operate without being addressed by the department of health or someone who can protect the patients. And then they send an invoice for payment. By the way all the other elective outpatient surgeries I’ve had at other centers not once did I ever get a bill for anything. They definately are questionable on their ethics. There are plenty of other well staffed, caring facilities where you will be much safer and treated with respect and dignity. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere then Park Creek."
"Absolutely uncaring and unprofessional. My surgical procedure was cancelled less than 24 hours from when it was scheduled by an anesthesiologist who discriminated against me because of my weight. I passed all pre-op tests and was cleared by my doctor with my only health issue being slightly high blood pressure that is under control and weight. I’ve been trying to get the procedure done since March and after lining everything up medically, with my work and family arranging time off to care for me afterwards this jagoff declined to care for me at the last minute leaving no time for my doctor to find another facility. The continued pain because of this and inconvenience is enormous. If I could sue this person I would. Not even a hollow apology was provided."
"Horrid communication between staff. My mother spoke with Madeline Matos on Tuesday at 1:30pm to answer all the medical questions needed before her colonoscopy, and yet she received an email from her again to do it at 2:15pm. I was not aware and we ended up doing it a second time. Over 100 questions that is overload. When she arrived to the surgical office, she had very similar questions to answer AGAIN. This is ridiculous, you should know when to not ask it anymore and when you already have the needed information. Very disorganized, and the African American female receptionist at the office when we arrived was not helpful at all. First and hopefully last time using parkcreek. My mother had a much smoother time with Baptist health."
"ParkCreek's billing department called me after 4:30 pm Wednesday to discuss my upcoming surgery next Tuesday. The person who called me didn't say her name and was clearly in a rush. She first said I hadn't met my deductible. Then she said the amount I would have to pay on the day of my surgery would be effected by this. I calmly told her that was incorrect information. I knew that my deductible had been met months ago. She then told me she just called my insurance and that I was mistaken. The rude, unprofessional, condescending manner in which she spoke to me caught me off guard. She tried to dismiss me by continuing with the call. I told her no I need to call my insurance because something is wrong. She said I just called your insurance. I said well you have incorrect information. The phone call thankfully ended at that point. I called my insurance and they verified that YES I had met my deductible. I was also told that in network surgery center should NOT be asking for money to be paid upfront for my procedure. I normally don't pay an upfront co pay after an appt. Its billed through my insurance first. If the surgery facility has a charge that's one thing but anything to do with my procedure should be bill through my insurance first. Then my responsibility will be determined. This is so I don't overpay. This has been negotiated between my insurance company and in network surgery centers. ParkCreek is in network for me. My doctor is in network also. They have a contract in place laying this out but ParkCreek disagrees. My insurance company immediately tried called ParkCreek but they closed at 5pm and were gone. I called ParkCreek back the next day and the number didn't work. I tried several times and I just couldn't get anyone. So I decided to call the number that called me the day before. To my dismay the voice from the day before picked up. The conversation didn't last long because she continued to disagree with me on everything. She said no I hadn't met my deductible and regardless of any contract ParkCreek"s policy is that patients pay whatever amt ParkCreek says on the day of surgery or there is no surgery. So they don't even have to explain to me what amounts are for what? I asked that she call my insurance because if we can't get this agreed upon I don't feel comfortable being placed in their care to be honest. We hang up and I call my doctor to discuss this matter. They have no idea what exactly is the problem. I at this point don't feel comfortable going to this place for my surgery. I mean i'm a good person. So why am I being treated this way? I'm in pain and nervous about my surgery. I now have to deal with this disgusting situation now. So my surgery is being rescheduled and I must start all over with a new surgery center Oh the billing lady did call me back with her usual rude, unprofessional, condescending manner. She first said yes I was right my deductible was met. She blamed that on my insurance company. Then she said in a very forceful way that I will have to pay before my surgery. She gave me an amt that was over a thousand dollars. She didn't disclose to me how she came up with that amt. I guarantee I would be paying more then I'm supposed to. That's why my insurance company negotiated no paying upfront with in network surgery centers but they don't care. They want as much money from whomever. I would have to fight for a refund at a later date. I fought over a year for a refund in another situation like this. I mean no one cares about the patient anymore. Oh and customer service is lacking from beginning to end. If a contract is in place how about keep your word and stop hurting the patient."
"Had a procedure done here 2 days ago. I was really impressed from the front desk manager to all the nurses I encountered. Everyone was so friendly. I was a bit nervous but everyone did their best to try to make me feel at ease. It seemed like everyone enjoyed their job and enjoyed helping their patients. This type of care you don't come by often. Please keep up the great work!"
