"UNPROFESSIONAL I had a highly disappointing experience with this neurologist. Despite having an appointment, the doctor was nowhere to be found, and the staff couldn't locate her. Waiting for two hours without any consultation was frustrating. Another patient before us even requested a refund due to prolonged wait times and frustration. Overall, a regrettable and unprofessional encounter."
"My relative had a stroke while on vacation in Ft Lauderdale. He recovered without any side effects thank goodness for the stroke protocol at Broward Health. A dr there, who’s associated with this clinic, according to the hospital records and number provided, was involved in his care in neurology at the hospital on the day of discharge and helped give clearance to leave after the mri came back without issues. When we returned back home in NY my relative needed a letter of neurology and cardiac clearance to have lithotripsy to get rid of kidney stones. There’s no cutting involved. The drs in NY asked for the clearance letters from Florida. We received the cardiac without issue The stones are blasted and physically removed without cutting so it’s a procedure done under anesthesia- without cutting. He was neurologically cleared from this dr after the mri to be discharged from the hospital and we asked for that letter but the office manager at this practice refuses to give what’s needed for the lithotripsy and referred us to ask the hospital because we couldn’t get back on a plane to be reevaluated in their offices. They want to bill our insurance again for more money ( so they think that they are holding us hostage to come see them ) and ignore helping people. We will get the discharge clearance letter from the hospital but I’d not recommend this clinic to anyone since it has become apparent that their focus is on money and not health. Go somewhere else if want your health to come first."
"Been going to the NI for several years now. Yes I would and I have recommended a couple people to the NI. I do have a small complaint about the wait.time once I am in the exam room. Then the time with the doctor is over very quickly. Today I met another new person, a PA I think she said she asked about two of three medications I take. Asked a few other questions. I have to say that the brief time she spent with me was focused on notations. Very little patient interaction with me. Then when the doctor came in she said she was told about my 2 recent surgeries and I had no complaints. I never said I didn't have any complaints. Again I do see someone new everytime I go for a check up and that may be why she concentrated on note taking. At the end of the day, as long as my maintenance meds are not delayed in refills (which twice now in the last year there was a week between the last dose until the new refill arrived), The chronic peripheral neuropathy takes some days of playing catch before I start feeling some pain relief. I don't know where the ball is dropped nor do I need to know. Just expressing a concern from a patients view. This is by no means a negative criticism to the NI. It is meant to be an opportunity to share my feelings from a patients perspective. I would and will continue to refer anyone who may be looking for neurological services to NI."
"Dr. Sonia Kalirao has been my savior and I’m so proud to recommend her to all of my family and friends; she has helped me control my chronic migraines. Im so thankful to her. Very patient, friendly and kind. Her staff is very helpful and compassionate. Thank you Dr. Kalirao."
"Look for another provider! I waited for an appointment for 2 months. 20 minutes before the appointment I received a call that it has to be canceled. I asked for my options. They said the next availability is in 4 months! It was shocking to hear. Especially since I was already next to the office after driving for 45 min to that appointment and had to turn around. They told me they’d call me back. No one called back. I doubt anyone from this office will contact me based on reviews from others people. I will revise my review based on the rest of my experience with this provider."
