"The 5 star is for this wonderful nurse Shawna Webster who works in the Addison office She truly is the Crown Jewel of the Company Whenever I want or need to get anything done properly and in a timely manner with this company I always turn to her Not only is she skilled and knowledgeable but her heart is so big she goes the extra mile"
"Healogics represents a wound care facility in Pella IA. They overcharged me thousands of dollars every visit for a Surgical Debridement when I had no such thing. They have already been sued and had to pay 22.5 million dollars for them and when I confronted them on they completely ignore their improper coding and overcharging of patients."
"Was a patient for about 5 months. I was discharged with the wound still open but they considered it "healed." It's back to where it was when I started going there because on my last day there, they put an adhesive bandage on the wound knowing I am allergic. I wish I could load a picture of it on here. So 30,000 dollars later I still have the same issue I started with. I would go once a week at $50 a pop for the "co-pay" for them to wrap my leg in a compression wrap and clean the wound if needed. So it cost about 5,000-7,000 a month for 4 appointments that I was in and out in less than 45 min. Was turned into collections while I was still being seen and still giving them 200 bucks a month. After being discharged I went online to make a payment and they won't accept anything less than 50 bucks. So if you can only afford $45 at the time, you can't pay it. With it being already turned into collections, I'm thinking about letting it go. After all, I didn't get what I paid for. Guess what. They made it to where you can upload pictures now."
"I would literally give this zero stars if I could. I have been going back and forth with billing from services I received OVER a YEAR ago. Each time I call to get clarification, I get a different answer. I have all of my EOBs from my insurance that show the date they sent payments to Healogics. None of my statements have corresponded with the dates on my explanation of benefits. I had a total of four visits with them from 01/28/2020-02/18/2020. All payments per my insurance were paid in Feb. 2020 with the exception of one that was paid 08/2020. Neither my September, October, November, December, January 2021, or February 2021 statements reflected "some" of the payments, so imagine my surprise when I thought I had paid my balance in full and get another bill with a "Final Notice" saying if it's not paid in full in 10 days they were turning me over to collections. For someone who is very organized and keeps up with their bills, to say that i'm not happy is an understatement. I don't know how they operate with such a disorganized billing department."
"I received a bill from Healogics, after having received treatment on 6/1/2020. However, they did not run the bill through my insurance company prior to billing me. When I asked why it was not ran through insurance, no one was able to provide me with a reason or explanation. I was also told to disregard the bill I received until they ran my bill through insurance and another bill is sent. I received a second bill on 7/29/2020 for $199.67, which was an adjusted amount. I paid the bill on 8/3/2020 via credit card. On 8/13/2020, I received a letter from Oregon ARG, Inc. Collection Agency, which was dated 8/4/2020 for $144.27. If I owed $199.67 to Healogics, then why is collections only billing me for $144.27? There is no reason why this bill should have been sent to collections. First of all, it was their fault that the bill was not submitted through insurance right away. Secondly, I paid the bill five days after receiving it. And third, the bill was paid in less than 90 days. This entire matter is ridiculous. Apparently it's Healogics policy to turn bills over to collections after 60 days, which is too short of a period of time. Plus if the bill isn't paid until after 60 days because of an error on their part, then the bill should not be submitted to collections. This company apparently is not in business to help people. Their sole purpose is to make as much money as possible, screw people over and cause negative marks on people's credit report."
