"Great facility I had just one thing to mention to the mechanic team that is supposed to make sure all the MRI, CT scans and X-ray machines stay up on timely inspection and repair. It will keep the patient from having to reschedule the appointment. Other than that the staff is friendly and understanding and the facility is very well maintained and clean."
"My mom went in for a biopsy on 11/1 and we have not heard from anyone, we have called 702-6370 over 20 times and it goes to vm each time. With something so serious they should have better communication and at minimum have the phones manned. I have even called the hospital to be transfered and was pushed to vm."
"Final update 9/21: I spoke with Janelle in the Department of Risk and Patient Safety. She assured me this issue has been escalated to the CFO and Finance team to review future process flows that involve training, as well as HCA making direct bank contact, or even escalating issues faster. I appreciate Janelle listening and how she jumped on this the moment she was brought in. It did take 3 requests for my issue to be escalated, which is noted as an issue as well. The only reason I will raise to 3 stars is because of Janelle. Considering I was out nearly $900 for 5 days, I cannot give higher than 3 stars. 9/13: I went in today for breast imaging and Dierdre checked me in. She has little to no understanding of how to run a credit card. She charged my HSA $400, told me it showed up as insufficient funds, then charged me the amount again on my credit card. I'm now due a refund and have no funds in my HSA until I get it back from them. Also, she will try to tell you they don't provide an itemized billing statement, but her manager promptly told me they DO, it just takes 1-2 days for billing to generate the document. Learn how to do your job, Dierdre. You def made my day more stressful and now put more work on me. Edit 1:37pm: got this reply from Memorial to call for resolution 24 mins ago, yet the person I dialed had no clue when she'd be able to cancel the duplicate payment. How was this helpful to me at all right now? I am still out $400 as of this moment. Seems to me the fast reply was only written to make it appear as if there was a fast fix Edit 2:48pm: Deserea called back and offered to refund 1 of my duplicate payments. I still have to watch my account and wait, but have the start of a resolution. This was escalated to the CFO, which I appreciate. Will continue to edit until this is finished. Edit 6pm: checked my credit card statement and I was charged 2x for $449.69 AND my HSA card was charged $400. What is happening and why was I charged so many times?!?!?!?!??! Edit, 2 days later 9/15: still being told by Memorial that they have no charged me 3x, only 2. Well, my bank confirmed there are 2 charges and do not see the refund I was promised even pending. I've asked to speak to someone higher than their Director of Patient Access because at this point I'm getting nowhere and out $1300 or so for a $449.68 visit. 9/16: finally received my money back, now I owe them a small sum of $49.68. I was told how they wanted to help and tried and it seemed to me as if just because they did their job after stealing my money that I should be so grateful. I am grateful to have my money back, but not for the undue stress HCA caused me."
"The Breast Center at Memorial has always had an excellent reputation and great reviews. When I was looking up their phone number on Google I was surprised to see they only had 3 posted reviews. What had happened to all the great reviews that used to be on line for them? I made my appointment with no problems and went to my appointment this morning where I was cheerfully greeted and registered immediately. The facility was clean, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. Minutes later I was escorted to the back where the volunteer cheerfully greeted me and even offered me freshly brewed coffee. Within minutes I was in a gown and being escorted to the procedure room. When the procedure was completed the Radiologist came in almost immediately and reviewed my films with me. I was in my car and on my way home in less than 30 minutes! I am so glad that my physician recommended that I go there because of the quality of their work. I second that and also recommend them for their refreshing environment and friendly compassionate care!"
"Do not use this facility for your exams! They lied to me to get me to authorize additional, unnecessary tests and billed me later for 100's of $$ after assuring me that they contacted my insurance company and these tests were covered. They tried to push me to get even more tests, but I said no because I had to go to work because they kept me there almost 3 hours. Thank goodness!! Who knows what they would have billed me for those tests."
