"This office has been my GYN for several years. Dr. Demetrios is knowledgeable and continues to support through any expressed concerns."
"This place was excellent until having to see “Dr. Gray” absolute garbage and my wife and I are glad to hear she is leaving and we will not have to see her again!"
"I recommend you read the last two reviews before mine and DO NOT have prenatal care with this group. I’ve had 3 out of my 4 babies with BAPTIST each time having an extremely positive experience, whatever I needed I received. Unfortunately, with the influx of pregnancies and living walking distance from ST Vincents’ I ended up with this group. The hospital staff is amazing but everything went downhill from there. Firstly, they advise via phone you have a 15 mins grace period. Because I have to couple appts with my lunch to stay employed, I utilize those 10-15 mins knowing otherwise I would not eat… BOTH locations I’ve gone to cancelled me at :14 and :15 mins as if it’s not already inconvenient coming to an appointment just to discuss paperwork (that they didn’t even have). The front desk at the Belfort Rd. is a mess, it smells in this office, the bathroom is nasty, the office itself is old and dirty in general , the doctors seem overworked, the midwife I saw was upset that she didn’t have the correct paperwork when seeing me and wasn’t even sure what she was seeing me for. She was also DRY and very rude and rough. Her name is Grace, may be time to retire. Finally, the office manager “Paula” is simply unprofessional. She tried to tell me it’s my responsibility to get records that were suppose to be requested by her team a month prior. I signed the release in office which she couldn’t find. Also, as a non medical person she tried to explain that “nothing is wrong with me” a huge liability to the practice. You don’t have records because you didn’t request them even though I signed a consent. So then plainly “you don’t know what’s wrong with me”. Which is even more reason you do what’s needed to figure it out. She also took the time to call the Gate Pkwy office to complain about me as a patient but couldn’t be bothered to track down the records request or the records needed for my appointment. I take my health and my unborn child’s health incredibly serious. I’m high risk and not looking for a hand out so my expectations are extremely high. Not only that I am in HEALTHCARE. I know this is a Medicaid provider, so I expected a low level experience but even if you are uninsured your provider should be caring, understanding, willing to work with their patients and knowledge. You’re running around in circles because you’re understaffed and obviously the entire team could use more training. I visited another location and their staff was frank she said if you work it may not be a good fit, the providers do not work with you or your timing. That was evident because my provider APRN Adams had a meeting 14 mins after my appt. So had I made it I had 14 mins to discuss my 225 pages of transferred medical records. In general if I weren’t high risk I’d go to a birth center.. I’m in shock I was recommended to come here by a physician I had to unfortunately follow up and state she should not be recommended anyone unless it’s their only choice!"
"This place was one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had in my life. The staff treated me with rudeness and unprofessionally, and the doctor never showed up for my appointment. After waiting for over 2 hours, there was no show. A nurse rudely informed me that I had the option to leave if I wanted. They have poor bedside manners. When I complained, the nurse made disrespectful remarks and started an argument with me. My well-being or health was not something they cared about. Extremely disappointed in the level of care."
"If I wasn’t 5 days shy of being 39 weeks I would be changing offices. To all Moms to be, especially first time moms to be, stay CLEAR of this place. I’ve had too many bad experiences to count. I just hope the hospital/ labor and delivery side will bring our baby into this world safely but I’m truthfully terrified. The nurse or whatever she is named Sabrina is extremely rude. They called me and put me on hold for 10 min then she rudely picks up saying she spoke to me already when the only reason I was on hold was because they called me, why? I don’t know. She was clueless as to what was going on and wouldn’t let me, the patient speak AT ALL. I simply needed to know what date they request for me to be induced because it needed to align with what my HIGH RISK doctor said. She started yelling at me, I start crying (I’m very pregnant, hormonal and scared), my husband gets on the phone and tries to ask the same question “what date was submitted?” She again was talking rudely over him and started repeating “I’m not going to be verbally abused.” If you can’t handle this situation maybe this isn’t the career for you. Verbal abuse is not trying to figure out what day was submitted for me to be induced. It was crazy. We didn’t curse or disrespect anyone. I let her talk and then asked if it was my turn to speak and instead of listening to my simple question, she kept repeating over what I was saying “you can talk to my manager. You can talk to my manager”. “You can talk to my manager I’m not gonna be verbally abused I’m not gonna be verbally abused I’m not gonna be verbally abused talk to my manger talk to my manager” like a small child. As she was repeating this over and over again we were trying to say yes we would love to talk to the manager. The manager (Kelly I think was her name) was actually very helpful and was capable of answering our very simply question. It’s really sad that this is the behavior that’s coming out of that office because a few of the nurses, doctors and midwives are actually pretty good. Huge red flag when the patient is not allowed to speak and they are treated like this. I will not be returning if I have another pregnancy."
