"This is not a welcoming place. Especially as a black women. They refused to see me , saying they were 8 patients backed up when I arrived for my appointment. They proceeded to make me wait 30 minutes AND make me pay my $45 co-pay all before telling me that “sorry, you were 18 minutes late and the doctor said she can’t take anymore late patients.” I was not even close to being 18 minutes late. They were completely lying to my face . Extremely rude front girl workers They just wanted excuses not to see me because of their poor planning. Full of lies, they don’t treat you like a patient, pack as many appointments as they can in for the money , only care about your $, and disrespect your time. What a disgusting excuse for an establishment rooted in health care."
"Very bad & wrose experience with them . No cooperation & response from the nurse and management. Very rough & rude behavior . If you have any questions you will never get any call back from them. No ontime medicine refill. You have to call them atleast 2 to 3 days if you need any medicines . Everything was very frustrating."
"I have been a patient at this doctor's office for almost a year, where I recently underwent a C-section procedure. During a routine checkup following the C-section, I was abruptly demanded to pay $4500 upfront. Despite my plea to consult my insurance company beforehand, the staff persisted in pressuring me to make the full payment immediately. When I tried to explain that I needed to verify the payment with my insurance, they adamantly refused to let me see the doctor and asked me to leave. I even emphasized that I had come for the appointment, leaving my two-month-old baby at home, but they disregarded my concerns and continued to demand full payment. After contacting my insurance, I discovered that my actual due payment was only $460, as I had already paid $1000 during previous routine checkups, and I was entitled to a refund of $540 from them. I understand that the doctor's office operates as a business, the way I was treated was shocking and disrespectful. Despite the financial aspect, I expected them to show some empathy and consideration for my health and the well-being of my two-month-old baby. Instead of acknowledging the situation and the overpayment I had made, they asked me to leave without any regard for my concerns. This behavior was deeply disappointing and left me feeling disregarded and disrespected"
"My experience there was terrible. I waited 30 minutes to be called back to an office room where I sat for another hour with no one coming to speak with me. After an hour and a half I left the room and approached the front office personnel. There were at least three female employees sitting around talking and joking, and not paying attention to anyone. I said excuse me to get someone’s attention. Andrea, the med asst who takes patient history, (not me) says..How can I help you? I say can you please tell me what’s going on. I have been here over 1 1/2 hours and I have not yet seen the doctor. Her quick response was..Do you want to reschedule? I said no I just want to know what’s going on. Then Rene, the office mgr??, came around the corner from her office and stated the doctor was in another room, and I was next in line. Another half hour goes by and I can hear the doors open and close. I go back out to speak with Rene. She says, I’ve been waiting outside the door of the room that the doctor is in. You are still next. Now It’s been two hours. I speak with Rene about my concerns. Rene says that there is something going on that’s urgent. I’m next in line. What would I like to do? I said I would have preferred that this had been handled in a better way such as… At any point in time someone could’ve come in 15 minutes 30 minutes 45 minutes to say there’s a medical emergency going on and I could reschedule. But no, I had to leave the room and approach the office personnel myself. Second, the attitude of the front office personnel was so rude. Rene acknowledged the rudeness, that the situation could’ve been handled much better and that someone should’ve come and told me. I asked for my records to be deleted, and I wanted to leave the appointment. Even still, I was being told I was next in line. When I walked out the door it was pouring down rain. The rain gave me a moment to Pause and I thought the doctor should really know what is going on. I went right back in to speak with Rene. I asked if I could speak with the doctor for a moment, and she said either you follow our protocol or you leave. I asked her What is your protocol? Is it for patients to sit inside of a room for two hours without being addressed? Rene then spewed venom at me for their own inadequacies and said just because it was raining I came back inside. Therefore, I had lost my place in line and it could be another 45 minutes or even longer. I said, I did not come in because it was raining outside. The only thing the rain did was give me a pause to realize this was completely inappropriate behavior, that all persons involved lacked professionalism and basic human consideration. The problem wasn’t that there was an emergency, I totally understand that. The problem was the way I was being treated and how the situation was being handled. I said no I just want the doctor to know the situation that is happening. Rene says, Well, since you walked out the door and only came in because it was raining the doctor is now in with another patient. That wasn’t true at all I didn’t come back in because it was raining. I expressed to Rene that this wasn’t the first bad experience I’ve had with this offices’ inadequacy’s and would not be returning. She said, how could that be you’re a new patient. I responded, I am a new patient. However, I was asked to bring a teenager in for evaluation with the same office, and provider due to her insurance. I chose not to tell her the rest of the story. Similar situation with the rude office personnel, and waiting hours for an appointment never to have had it, and it had to be rescheduled. This is a consistent issue with this provider and office staff."
