"This is the worse doctor I have ever met. She provided care for my mother for little over a year. Despite my mother two hear condition she treated her herself and refuse to refer to a cardiologist. As a result my mother suffer a stroke n the blood thinner to help prevent it was not updated and during the last 3 months my mother was under her she refused to see my mother when I spoke to her about a UTI my mother had for 4 months because the doctor refused to have her seen by a urologist..."

She took her time in learning my history and giving me a complete exam and blood work based on my past. She addressed all my concerns and answered all my questions. "Dr. Shaw's office refused to give my mom an appointment because according to the staff, "Dr. Shaw is a preventative primary care physician and insist to see her patients every three months" and my mom haven't been to the doctor in about 7 months. She didn't have any issues and she was taking her blood pressure medications regularly and her blood pressure was under control. Thats why she didn't see the doctor. When I called the office because mom had to go on an overseas trip for a month the office wouldn't give her an appointment and only filled the blood pressure medications for a month. I agreed to come back and see the doc when she come back. But they told us that she has to find a new primary care physician. If you are planning to consider Dr. Shaw as your primary care, be prepared to keep up with the "every three month" schedule. Were they right? You be the judge. I wasn't happy with their service."

"I went with my uncle on several occasions and she spoke down to him each time because he would disagree with things she was telling him. She just kept having him come in for follow up appointments but never told him what for. Also, we had to wait almost an hour each time to be seen. My cousin lives with him now and was able to get him a much better doctor who actually listens to him. He feels much better and has only been seen my his new doctor twice this whole summer."
