West Coast Auditory Processing Center

The West Coast Auditory Processing Center, located in Oldsmar, Florida, is a specialized institution owned and operated by experienced audiologists with over 25 years of experience in diagnosing auditory processing disorders. Our mission is to identify and address auditory processing difficulties that may be hindering academic or daily listening abilities, and to create personalized treatment plans for our clients to use at school, home, and work.

Using evidence-based diagnostic tests, we are able to pinpoint the specific processing challenges faced by individuals aged 5 years and older. Our comprehensive testing process takes approximately two hours, allowing us to develop tailored therapy protocols to address each client's unique needs.

At our center, we utilize the Buffalo Model of Auditory Training, developed by Dr. Jack Katz, Ph.D., in conjunction with Acoustic Pioneer and Hear Builder as necessary. Our therapy sessions, which last for 12-14 weeks, are conducted one-on-one with our audiologists either in person or online. Following each round of therapy, a re-evaluation is conducted to track progress.

As a fee-for-service clinic, we do not bill insurance directly, but we provide superbill documentation for clients to submit for reimbursement. We encourage individuals to verify with their insurance providers, as our rates may be more cost-effective.
