"This is the worst service I've ever received. I went in May and got sized for my diabetic shoes that were supposes to be ready since June 5th. I've gotten a runaround about insurance authorization and had to do all the ground work. I kept calling Hanger clinic and nobody would return my calls. Most times I would get an answering service person during regular business hours and they were rude. I received a letter from my insurance company stating it was approved in July. Here we are in September and still no return call. I recommend using a different business."

The person who fit my shoes did a great job - so great in fact that I ordered the exact same shoes two years in a row. "Little did they know what I have been through in the last few months. I lost my sister who was my last immediate family member. She was only 62 and she was my heart and soul. I was faced with emergency gallbladder surgery. 1st time ever having surgery and I was terrified. Recently, I found out that both of my dogs are in kidney failure. They are all I have. The Vet advised to get them on a kidney diet. I decided to cook human grade food for them. I don't even cook for myself. I made a months supply worth. However, in mid stream, I realized the supply would not fit in my freezer. I found a small freezer that would be delivered in one day. Delivery was on time and placed at my front door. I thought I could drag 60lb's into the house. I was wrong, fractured my back in the process! ER gave me a script for a brace. However, they were incorrect with the type of brace that was needed. Hanger Clinc not only took me in without an appointment, they knew exactly what kind of brace was necessary for my injury. They were very knowledgeable and patient. They made sure that I knew how to use the brace before I left. They definitely went way above and beyond to help me. It really makes such a difference to find a business these days with the exceptional service and compassion! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Hanger Clinic"

"They have been beyond rude to me everytime I call them. My son has flat feet and it has caused him to have use a walker to walk anywhere now. They refuse to work with me when Ive explained as clear as I could that my insurance will pay for the shoes. They tell me they wont and become so rude. Then they said that my insurance may or may not pay so I need to do a down payment of 120 and hope my insurance will pay for it. What kind of place is this?!?!? Do not come here for help because you wont recieve it All they care about is you paying 300 total for thier shoes when my insurance WILL pay it."

"I wish that I could give less than one star. My doctor sent me here to get a custom made ankle stabilization device. During my first appointment, the doctor was an hour and a half late taking me back. He continued to be late every single time that I had an appointment. The straw that broke the camel's back, though, occurred today. I called yesterday because my ankle brace (which I am supposed to wear every waking hour) is broken. The receptionist told me that the soonest they could see me would be in over two weeks, because the physician was going on vacation and they had no back up person available. I asked if I could go to another Hanger clinic, since I need to wear the brace daily. She told me no. I was upset, but said that I understood and hung up. I called my doctor today, to get his advice, and his receptionist said that she would call Hanger to see if something could be worked out. Hander's receptionist LIED to my doctor's receptionist, telling her that I was told that I could come in yesterday... THIS WAS 100% FALSE. She was very rude to my doctor's receptionist, who ended up making me an appointment with another clinic and saying that they would no longer send me to Hanger. BEWARE. There are so many other orthotic locations that you can go to. DO NOT go to this one if you value your time or your expensive orthotics."
