She then injected the platelets in four places in my shoulder. I was able to sleep that night for the first time in months because before whenever I rolled onto my left shoulder, the sharp pain would wake me up. Now, over six weeks later my shoulder is comfortable. I still have to be careful in exercise classes, or when lifting anything heavy on that side, but now, when I sit or lie down, I don’t have a sharp pain that disturbs whatever I’m doing.
