"I recently had an appointment at The women center for the removal of my Nexplanon implant, and I must say, it was an incredibly disappointing experience. When I scheduled the appointment over a month ago, I specifically asked about my options regarding consultation and removal. The lady on the phone assured me that if it was just for removal, I could proceed directly with that option. However, upon arriving at the clinic, I was met with weak customer service from the start. To make matters worse, there was an issue with my insurance, which I understand can happen. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, I was given two unreasonable options: pay in full on the spot or reschedule for another consultation not even proceed with my current appointment that was removal. This was completely unacceptable, considering I had taken time off work to attend this appointment. It’s incredibly frustrating to have my time wasted and be given conflicting information from what was originally communicated to me. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of communication and professionalism displayed by the staff at The women center. This experience has left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced, and I will not be returning to this clinic in the future."
"This practice has an extremely small waiting room. So much so that they ask guests you bring to wait outside. You are not allowed to bring any minors in with you. I have a two year old and no family to watch him so my husband had to stay home while I went alone. I asked them why and they said it was a policy since COVID that hasn't changed. This should be a lovely family experience and it was just lonely and unfair of them to have this policy. I guess if I was a single mom and/or it was my first pregnancy I wouldn't mind. I only went one time and will not return. The staff was nice but they gave off the vibe they didn't want to be there. Dr. Guerrero was nice, but told me I would have a hard time finding a doctor to do a VBAC and that most insurance wouldn't cover it, which is simply not true. I will be looking elsewhere for my prenatal care. Was not the clinic for me."
"I came to this office at the recommendation of my sister. Overall I left with a positive feel about my experience, however the day I happened to go had post holiday long wait times. BUT Dr. Guerrero was worth the wait! I have never felt so understood in a short conference with a doctor. She patiently let me explain my issues, accurately interpreted what I said, and even assessed “between the lines” information about me and my preferences to help create a plan of care tailored to me. She is smart, kind, and skilled. I left my appointment and immediately scheduled my well woman exam (which I had been putting off because I had been frustrated with how the last 2 medical professionals, from different offices, have handled my care plans.) Only con: front desk staff is kind, but maybe not very detail oriented…which may cause frustration for some patients."
"Dr. Guerrero is an excellent physician and made me feel listened to/ understood. However, the office seems to over book her time slots. I am a new patient and was waiting for about an hour and twenty minutes before being seen. What I can say is that it was clear to me that Dr. Guerrero will not compromise the amount of time each patient needs even if the day is busy. I felt that all of my questions were answered and was not rushed at all. I will be going back because the physician is excellent and I’m hoping the wait time was a fluke. I will not be able to continue to be a patient at this practice if the wait time continues to be so long as a result of over booking."
"Facility has been great so far. I'm about 4 months into my pregnancy and have enjoyed all of my visits. The doctors and nure practitioners are especially caring. I've seen Tracy Dave a couple of times and she impresses me each time with her study of my chart. She arrives in the room with follow up questions about our last visit and seems to remember our previous conversations, despite having several patients. Definitely recommend this office."
