Carefirst Family Practice new doctors office

"My husband has sleep apnea it is life threatening he crashes vehicles, falls asleep driving. He had to do 2 sleep studies because this practice never followed up with the first, never returned our calls either but had the sleep study Dr call us back to do a second one. This is back in the beginning of November here it is December 14 and still no machine that he needs. His father just died of a weak heart linked to his own sleep apnea. My husband has been calling all week no responses not even a returned phone call he finally leaves work early to go up there they say they are in his file right now and will call him Monday with everything solved. Here it is Wednesday and nothing. No call back nothing. I called them 10 times today and they finally gave me a number of the place that does the machines and they gave me a bogus number for Texas highly unprofessional and no office manager. Asked to have office manager call me and still nothing."

"I have NEVER been spoken to by a doctor the way I was spoken to at my current visit with Dr. Weaver (the father) of the practice. I asked a simple question about a supplement vs a prescribed medication and apparently it struck a nerve and he got in my face with a raised voice using curse words explaining his opinion of my questioning treatment and suggesting my ultimate demise otherwise and that I can go to another doctor if I want things to be sugar coated. All over cholesterol...which I know is important to keep in check and not ignoring but was never so embarrassed and taken back by a doctors actions before in my life. I never got a word in edgewise for the rest of my visit nor did he give me my ekg or X-ray results because he was to busy ranting so much about my treatment for cholesterol and my appointment time allotted was up. I left there speechless. Needless to say I will be looking for another provider."
