"Listen to the negative reviews. Don't dare question their billing practices or trying to get a straight answer out of them. They're just milking the system for $$$. Charged $350 for a new patient visit. Asked why so much and they kept trying to talk about my insurance paying $70 of it. Today Dr L handed me a transcript his office person wrote of my call with her, in which of course she lied about what I said. Then when I called them out on this he suddenly didn't want to talk about his office staff and that they didn't answer my question. They think "talk to your insurance company" is an appropriate answer to why they charged $350 for a new patient office visit."

"The first two visits I had a couple years ago were great. Sad to say something has changed for the worse. The staff is rude and no one knows what the other one is doing. I was told I needed blood work done for an appointment to which they made me move my appointment so there was time to get it done. Then I go to get said blood work which no one ever sent to the lab. Then was told they would get it sent over, at which point that never happened. Days later I received a call saying they sent my order for my TSH since that’s what I requested. I never requested anything!!!!!! Tired of being run in circles by them. Will be finding a new PCP."

"It's amazing how patients criticize this HCA location ever since Dr. Kaul and Caterina - NP jumped ship during the pandemic. Katherine Adams - NP remained as the only medical professional in this facility during covid's height - a very difficult time. These same patients who whine about the departure of the other two should commend and thank Katie. If you decided to continue with this facility, you now had the option either to see Katie Adams as your PCP or go someplace else. At least you didn't have to wait an hour for your appointment. I decided to stay and I'm glad I did. For 34 years, I have struggled with a condition that required a certain medication. This medication was no longer effective for me. Katie recommended a more natural option and I agreed to try it. In all those years of dealing with my condition, she is the only medical professional who suggested this alternative, which has been available for decades. Although the transition is a work in progress, I know I made the right decision."

"We love Family Care Specialist. We see Katie Adams NP and she is excellent, very caring and very knowledgeable. She knows her stuff and is willing to go to any lengths! Sunny in the office is very kind and very helpful. She also takes very good care of me as do the other girls! I feel safe and secure and satisfied at Family Care Specialists."
