"when I went to my doctor appointment on January 31st it was not the best time for me my primary doctor act like he doesn't take my problems seriously he was going to fast and just made the suggestion to put me back in therapy like I really need it if you don't wanna deal with me I can totally understand that and I will be happy to switch to another doctor if you guys think I am wasting your time then you practically just gave me medicine and just rush me outta here you didn't even want to continue to send that referral in to cardiologist like I needed you to they could have done more test so I might just get a another primary doctor because you have changed you not the same doctor I met the last time so maybe it would make you happy if I didn't see you guys"
"We highly recommend to investigate the management, operation and the military like policy of this UF facility. They refuse the service because of being 10 minutes late. Beyond rude and unprofessional! Furthermore they refuse to accommodate a blind person. The patient came from outside of city, booked an uber that was cancelled 30 minutes later. He was managed to arrange a last minute ride and was late only 10 minutes and they refuse to accommodate for his disability and refuse the service. No other businesses would stay in business if they treat people like the way this patient was treated. We felt like we were in a military facility and not in a health care facility. They accepted no excuse for the 10 minutes delay. They said it is their policy. They could easily move the next patient up and the late person could slip in a later appointment. It is bad management not to be able to deal with a a short delay. It's not that they can. It's because they don't want to. The manager rudely told the legally blind patient " our employee live outside of the city too ", clearly had no sympathy or understanding that a blind person have to rely on other people. They made him come a week later and do the whole riding thing again. This time, I took a day off from my job to give him a ride. He was their on time and guess what, he had to wait not 10 but 15 minutes before they called him in, and there were only 2 other people in the waiting room. So the whole policy is for nothing. They demand being 100 % punctual but being late on their side is Ok ( then it's the nature if your business, right?). Not to mention that all first time appointments start with filling up a 100 page questionary and signing a 50 page agreements. Any other business would go out of business if they treat their customers this way and send them away because of 10 minutes. Change the management to a quified one for nicer customer service and soomther operation. Until take of your sign of how you not discriminate people with disability. Again, appointments are the natural of you business and there's a way to deal with patient being late."
"Love this location! Everyone is always so nice. Close to the hospital so I can get to and from work quickly."
"They are constantly messing up maintenance medication refills. I had to call them yet again because they refused a refill for my regular, non-controlled substance meds and they put me on hold for 2 hours. I called back on a different phone just in case they forgot about me and was put on death hold on that line too. I currently do not have my medication which is just great. I do not recommend any of the UF Health locations."
"I’m one of those stubborn people who had literally never been to a dr in my adult life. I’ve been going through a health crisis sense January. When it started I did not have a Primary physician. I started going to east side as my wife is a patient of Dr McMahon. I was blessed to have the same Dr. she’s wonderful. She listens, she doesn’t doubt you on first instinct. And I believe she honestly cares about every patient she sees. I’ve also seen a few other Drs at this facility when my health was worse and needed to be seen quickly. Everyone is so friendly, compassionate and considerate of you. This faculty is honestly a blessing for the East side of Gainesville. Thank you all for being outstanding medical professionals."
