"First Care urgent care did an excellent job for my condition. Their team from the front desk to the Dr and nurses took care of me, and I feel 100% now. I also called ahead for an appt, so there was no long wait."
"Dr. Martin was great when I saw him in September. Very professional and personable. Called me back to verify my medication allergies before prescribing meds. Wonderful"
"Front desk clerk was admit that they could not give us more than 30 days worth of heart meds, even though we showed her the letter about the up comming appt at his new primary. Since our insurance had changed. After insisting with her we needed at least enough to make it until his July visit she said fine I will check with the provider. Never ever tell a customer any of that without checking before hand."
"Unbelievable! We get there prior to opening to wait along with others at 8:45 am. The sign on the door says to go to Suite 11, so us along with others are at Suite 11. A nurse walks by us around 9 am (when they are supposed to be open) but never once says anything to us. We watch the Dr. drive up at 9 or 9:05 and go in the front door. No one comes to the door, no lights come on...nothing. So I decide to call and ask why they are not open. She said they were. I asked where at because at the front door there was a sign to not enter that way. She replied that is because they were closed ~ ugh! Well, you walked right by us couldn't she have said something??? Needless to say, after everyone in line gets told to go back to their cars because they of their rules - we finally were let in. And let me say the only reason we were there is because of the primary care doctor wouldn't increase a dosage of medication over the phone even though the patient was just seen almost exactly 1 month ago. And while there, the Dr. told patient to just call if she wanted to increase that medication. So what is the purpose of driving all the way to the urgent care because patient lives 1 hour away ...you tell me? Once inside I do have to say that everyone was nice and helpful. But come on, get there on time and open up on time and make sure if you have a line of people out on the other side -- because you told them to go there, that you inform them they are supposed to go to the front of the building."
"I would give Dr. Martin and his staff at SIMEDHealth Urgent Care center 1000 stars if I could. Their quick action and expertise, saved my life a few days ago. I tried going to an emergency department close to my home the night before because I had been having severe lower abdominal pain for 3 days. I spent 6.5 hours in the emergency room before finding out that someone else had been there for over 12 hours, with a neck brace on, and still had not seen a doctor. I asked when the doctor would be there to see patients and the nurse said that she could not say. The next morning, my daughter called SIMEDHealth Urgent Care and they told us, we could walk-in. I signed in and was seen by the most thoughtful and compassionate doctor, with is great sense of humor, Dr. Martin. He listened, asked questions then told me what needed to be done urgently and why. Dr. Martin gave me the choice of having a ct scan done next door or to get it done in the emergency department when I got there because they would to it when I got there. I needed answers now. Dr. Martin put a rush on the scan and by the time that was done, he was able to tell me about the results of blood work, and ct scan. He gave me a copy of the ct scan report and a disk. He also called ahead so by the time I got there, I was taken right in and and admitted. The ED doctor and surgical consult there in 5 minuted. They needed a copy of the ct scan report which Dr. Martin insisted that the ED doctor would need.I will be having surgery soon and taking care of another issue of caution that was also seen on the ct scan. I thank Dr. Martin and his staff at SIMED Health Urgent Care so very much and appreciate all they did for me."
