HCA Florida JFK North Hospital

"EDIT - My teenage daughter was in the middle of a panic attack so bad that she literally fainted in my arms twice and you can see she could barely even communicate. I had to call the ambulance which took us to JFK North and to say the nurses were awful is an understatement. The doctor I spoke to towards the end of her visit was kind, understanding. He was the only good experience we had. First they didn't let me go back and I knew I needed to because she told me the next day that they left her in the hallway in a chair and were all congregating in the nurses station laughing and talking ignoring her. She was trying to communicate and crying for help and they were condescending or would just walk past and roll their eyes. This is why I don't trust anyone with my family because of disgusting Healthcare workers like that who only care about a paycheck. To sit there and continue chatting and laughing while my daughter was suffering sickens me. I'm taking this to corporate and the media because you're not going to treat others like this any more not if I can help it. You messed with a mother and her kid that was the worst mistake. If you care to do your own investigation on it, it was on 2/15 at around 230pm."

"Honestly, this was best hospital experience ever. To be specific, at every level, I was given quality care, with obvious regard for my well-being, dignity, and autonomy. Wendy, Mimi, Crystal, Amy and Josh were kind, courteous, friendly (!) and professional. Dr. Akiva Marcus is a fantastic physician as well. I had zero negative after effect and he explained everything carefully and professionally in a relaxed zero pressure manner. Anesthesia was also fantastic, but I don’t remember their makes bc they had me high as kite, which was what they were supposed to accomplish anyway. Excellent job, JFK."

"I will never use another hospital again. JFK North Hospital was amazing. Staff and all. Lindsey was our RN and she was great. Had us laughing and made everything go smoothly. She is my husband's and I new friend. Lol. She is very attentive to her patients and does an amazing job there. I hope we don't have to go back to the hospital but if we do I pray she is our nurse again. Thank you so much for all that you do."

"I’m writing this review based on my emergency room visit last week. I was told there was one person in front of me and waited less than ten minutes for my vitals to be taken and the I.d. Bracelet was placed. Immediately after I was sent to a room where the P.A. Amanda’s orders were already placed and every order was done like clockwork. Breathing treatment, respiratory virus testing and chest X-ray. This helped me feel better and relax not yet knowing that I had bronchitis. The treatment also helped and I felt well taken cared of. I also received a very nice follow up phone call from Amanda to see if I was doing better. Thank you so much for your caring kindness."

"Amazing service and amazing care... all the staff were amazing and very professional and kind... they treated me with amazing professionalism and care and kindness! They have clean and spacious room... and the staff are always ready to help you with anything you need!
