"A short trip away from home with the long holiday break we decided to try some local places instead of the chains you can typically visit on a few days away. We were seated tentatively and our waiter Zach was great! All of the table attendants were amazing as well. They even found us after we got ice cream to give us our leftovers we left behind. Food was tastey and nicely spaced between courses but not too long that our kids were antsy. Friendly and a nice atmosphere is the best experience to have on a vacation. Thanks for the attention and positive attitude regardless of dining with children!"

"I visited Mateo’s with high hopes, particularly because I have a severe gluten allergy and was reassured beforehand about their gluten-free options and had a very positive experiences before. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Not only did we endure a wait of over two hours without any food, but when I inquired about our meal, I discovered that my gluten-free pasta had been substituted with zucchini without any prior notification or consent. This lack of communication about a significant menu change, especially considering my allergy, is unacceptable and alarming. The overall service was disorganized and inattentive, making the entire dining experience frustrating. It's crucial for restaurants to take dietary restrictions seriously and communicate openly with customers. I discussed with this service and will never be going back to the restaurant I used to enjoy."

"Matteo's always has had amazing food. The portions are shareable. Service is always awesome. Try the lobster ravioli. Only downside is the crazy prices. Four 4 people we spent over $300."

"I wouldn't describe the restaurant as casual like google says, but more upscale. Service was amazing, as well as the food. When your server says the larger portions are for 3, I'd say they are down playing it. The portions are so generous. I would recommend ordering the larger portions anyway and take home the leftovers. Prices are less than other Google viewers have said so don't let that change your mind!"

"Our server Eduardo was so kind and caring! We had a person in our party that has a severe dairy allergy and he made sure to point out what she could and couldn't eat at our table. The food was AMAZING and the best Italian that I have ever had. Can not give enough praises to this restaurant."
