"I loved the whole experience with Baptist. Dr.Nader is an amazing doctor and the office staff at WGV is great. The experience at the testing center at Baptist South was great, everything was efficient and the staff welcoming. I was so impressed by the technology that was there. Baptist also had translator services available to help me if I needed it."
"Went for an MRI. Easy to park and locate check-in. Friendly staff. The appointment was on-time which is rare for medical appointments. I am somewhat claustrophobic. So, the staff was awesome talking me through my time in the MRI tube by telling me how long each scan would take and how much overall time remained."
"Beautiful place .. but the good stops there. Call light response time (or response in general) is HORRIBLE. My mom is currently a patient here (only day 2) .. when request an update on her status and being told "the nurse will be down soon to see you" and waiting 2 hours and requesting it 3 times before it actually happens is RIDICULOUS! Honestly fearful of visiting hours being over and leaving her there alone when service is HORRIBLE WITH FAMILY EVEN AT HER BEDSIDE!"
"The entire mammogram and bone density experience was wonderful from the moment I was greeted walking in the door. My technicians were professional and completely put me at ease. They were both smiling happy women there to provide their expertise in getting the best diagnostic films. Thank you to all. I will never schedule at another facility. Congratulations on a Winning Team!"
"I have been to this hospital's ER 2 times. My last visit was on Sunday the 28th of January 2024. So, this is a very recent review. Upon being checked into the ER area, I must honesty express the staff's professionalism and compasion for those in need of immediate medical care. I was checked-in and several minutes later was called into the nurses station to obtain vital signs. I waited approximately 20 minutes and was taken back for treatment and placed in a hallway bed. No problem with this entire process at this point. As I could not lay down due to my back issue, I elected to stand up and just observe how people were working and attending to others in medical need. One employee constantly just grabbed my attention. As I observed the majority of medical staff working and running around attending to patients, I noticed this one employee just walking around with no worried in the world. Just to be fare about this employee, I did noticed him going into the "isolation" room however, not to perform anything, but just to ask if everything was okay. Nonetheless, I could have performed that same action for free. Anyhow, the doctor came to my attention to address my medical needs. Doctor Hill was amazing. She listen to me and what worked for my pain in my spine. Having served in the Marine Corps short of 44 years, my back gives me hell from time to time. Anyhow, the doctor put in an order for me to receive various pain medications. Approximately, 30-45 minutes later, this one individual approached me with the perscribed medications. Being it was Sunday, I expressed to him "I can't wait to get out of here so I can go home and watch some football". He became very aggitated and somehow very bother. Maybe because he had to work. He stated, "you know I am going to give you some narcotics, and you can't just leave.' He further stated, "do you have a driver?" I informed him "yes" my wife is out in the lobby. He then just looked at me and said, "I am not going to give you this medication, the nurse can do it." At that, time he scanned his ID on the computer and walked away without giving me any explination. So, now i waited an additional 30 minutes, until the nurse approached me and i explained to her exactly what took place. I understand medical protocol and respect towards fellow workers, however, after my observation and conversation with this staff member, he should not be working in this type of environment and most of all, assuming any action on behave of a patient. The nurse who then attended to my medical needs, was Noteworthy and a true Professional. The person I am referring to is a gentleman who goes by Ben, a with a bald head or shaved head. By my observation, he is just collecting a good pay check for doing nothing for the ER. I fully understand that the ER is a very busy place and no time to supervise anyone, thus, this employee needs to be held accountable and closely supervised. Respectfully submitted, Ray Pagan (USMC Retired)"
