Reviews
"Sarkis is not practice where new advances in medicine, mental health practice and knowledge are welcome. In addition, they are happy to make their own policies on what they will and will not share with patients and other practitioners regarding your medical records. NOTE-that is illegal!!! You are entitled to review and obtain a copy of all your medical records, including notes."
"My provider, Kathy Noffsinger is wonderful. Only 2 stars because it’s very expesnsive and they don’t take insurance.still charging $100 at Clinical Trials for a rapid Covid test. TMS which works DURING the 6 weeks really helped me with depression for $6,000 plus. But 0ne week later, the happiness vanishes along with a large chunk of money. Mental health is a very serious problem, and it should be available, affordable, and take all major insurance to better serve the community. I want to reiterate that Dr. Kathy Noffsinger is excellent."
"The front desk staff is comprised of some of the most impolite and disrespectful people…insulting, short-tempered, and should NOT be the face of a practice treating those in need of psychiatric help. Even the nurse-practitioner told me in session that there is a problem with the desk staff. Well worth finding a kinder practice."
"Bad experience here. Tried 2 different doctors and had the same situations occur. Major lack of transparency in the patient/doctor relationship. First of all, I was never told what my diagnosis was. I had to drag it out of my doctor 6 months into treatment. Secondly, I was prescribed medicine without being told what it was for. Later I found out they gave me an off label prescription for a medicine that had no connection to my diagnosis. After 7 months of being on one certain medicine (with absolutely no effect) the doctor just increased the dosage and prescribed more medicine on top of it instead of admitting that the medication wasn’t right for me. Both doctors were condescending and treated me as if I was a kid. Definitely not what I’m looking for in a doctor. Front staff are really nice, so I’m giving the review an extra star. Other than that, definitely wouldn’t reccomend this practice to anyone looking for true help."
"This was the best experience I ever had with doctors. I was skeptical because when I called to make the appointment they guided me to a nurse practitioner, as opposed to a doctor. I was also worried because it is a private pay only facility that they were going to take my money and not help me (as has happened so many times in the past). Once I got there I just felt like they actually cared, the front desk staff immediately asked me who I was and what time my appointment was, and when they looked in the file they had from filling out the initial appointment review they immediately gave me the packet I needed to fill out (only a few pages) then as soon as I sat down to fill it out Ashley called me (by the correct pronunciation of my name) to get my vitals and weight. After that I returned to the nice waiting area, which had a place for children to play, and finished filling out my 3 page of form. My appointment was at 2:15, I got there at 1:45, and after I had finished everything the nurse practitioner called me in. This is where I thought I was going to be evaluated for 10 minutes and sent on my way with the same meds I’ve always taken... Heather spent close to an hour and a half with me... talking about everything going on in my life, getting to know me, and evaluating me as every doctor should do with a new patient. She was the kindest sweetest doctor, and I really felt like she actually cared about me. At the end she did continue me on the medication I regularly take, but she also went out of her way to put me on a new medicine to help with some other issues I’ve been dealing with. She was the best. Let me reiterate, Heather was the best mental health professional I’ve ever spoken to. They didn’t ask for money until after I finished my hour and a half evaluation, and only after they prescribed me my normal medication and a new medication to help with my current issues. So for anyone worried about wasting money on them, please don’t be scared. This is a real doctors office with professionals at every level from the front desk to the doctors that evaluate you. I can’t sing the praises of Ms. Heather enough. What a wonderful woman that actually cares. I was literally blown away by how amazing this doctor was. I can’t thank her enough for how good of an experience I had. I honestly look forward to my next appointment."
