Hana Moon Japanese restaurant

"This was our first visit to Hana Moon so we tried a variety of things. We got their Ramen with 2 different proteins and it was wonderfully flavored. We also got a spicy tuna roll and super Dynamite roll. Both were very fresh and delicious. For appetizers we got the Crazy Jalapeño which I couldn't get enough of, it was so good. We also got their Shumai which was probably the best I've ever had. We will add Hana Moon to our restaurant rotations."

"It's a nice place recommended by our Airbnb host. It was easy to park, and we were sat quickly. The service was good even though we ordered the tofu appetizer, and our waitress had forgotten it; thank goodness we asked for it again; it was delicious!! The boat special with the moon special roll and chef's choice was excellent; all the sushi seemed fresh and was prepared perfectly. The miso soup was delicious, and the ginger salad was nice (my wife was happy, but I'm not a ginger fan). The only thing we would recommend is finding something less toxic-smelling to clean the tables with. It made me and my wife nauseous (maybe use less?) If we were in town, we would come back for sure!!"

"Wow. Especially if you go for the lunch special, this is the best food for the least amount I've encountered in the area. The appetizers are awesome. If you are tofu friendly, the Agedashi is amazing - a great combination of creamy, crispy tofu and bonito flakes. The Crazy jalapenos is also a great fried treat with the proper ratio of lots of cream cheese to fish and jalapeno. The lunch special rolls are a great fresh treat for an amazing price. So grateful we have this awesome place!"

"Food was fresh and delicious! The waitress was so sweet and answered my questions with ease. The atmosphere is as about as good as it can be in a dated building. No complaints here. The music playing was nice as well."

"Me and my friends went last night. We ate the cheese Rangoon’s before I got a picture of all of them, but there was six. The calamari was okay, I don’t think it was worth the price personally. All of the sushi was great. Really affordable for the portion that we got. Our drinks never got lower than halfway full. We will definitely be back."
