Jersey Mike's Subs

"A total ripoff. I’ve been eating at Jersey Mikes since the mid 1980s. You used to get a sub or half sub. A sub is a full roll that looks like a submarine. A half sub is cut in half. Now they sell a regular sub, which is a half for $10 and a giant for $17.99. What is a giant? That’s a regular sub. The prices are ridiculous. Much better sub, bread, meat, price at Tuscany, Tony’s or my favorite, Mario’s, for $8.99. I’ll never go back"

"Ordered a giant kahuna cheesesteak only to start biting into hard, bone-like pieces throughout the sandwich. So glad I didn’t bite any harder or else I would’ve broken my tooth. I understand some things are out of the single restaurants hands (say it comes from wherever they package it) but there’s also a possibly the stove wasn’t cleaned correctly or cleaning products were left on it. I’m sharing this sandwich with my fiancé and it’s extremely frustrating. Every few bites were biting into it hard. What could this be? $20 for a bad experience."

"These poor kids can never get it right. I don't know how hard it is to make a big kahuna without jalapenos? Or why is it extremely difficult to get my order completed? I was in person and present, half of my order was being prepared (2 hot subs), an online order came in and was prepared ahead of mine (1 hot sub/ 1 cold), and then my order is finished and I am sent on my way. After, everyone that came behind me had been serviced."

"I called to order my food ahead of time. The guy on the phone doesn’t need to take order at all. I could barely hear him, he had no phone presence, sounded so dry like he didn’t want to work. I enjoyed the sandwich though but that particular person doesn’t need need to answer the phone just make sandwich."

"At my job before I retired they occasionally would cater Jersey Mike's for the employees. I always thought they were good. Yesterday I actually had my wife get me a sub from this location. She got an Italian sub. She said they sliced the meat in front of her and that it was done quickly. I was starving so when she got home I tore into it. As I opened the wrapper I found that it was thick with meat and the veggies,spices, and oil made it look and smell great. As I took a few bites I quickly realized that this sub was awesome. I will definitely in the near future try some of the other subs at Jersey Mike's. So delicious!!"
