The Twisted Crab - Fort Myers

"Server was horrible, I asked for specials and recommendations since it was my first time there ever and she simply replied "it's seafood and I don't really eat seafood!" I actually left the place before ordering food because I have never been treated as if it didn't even matter if I ordered anything or not. The hostess was super nice and apologized when I explained why I was leaving and she offered to tell me the specials, it's sad when a hostess does a better job than a server. I won't be going here again though"

"Our entire experience was awesome. Ziy, made sure to provide amazing service and the food was delicious. I don’t always listen to all reviews because I’m in the industry. We ordered everything with all the spices we knew we wanted. Catfish was exceptional. 2 seafood boil dinners, lobster, shrimp, sausage and crab legs were in the perfect seasoned sauce and drinks (fishbowl) and (Twisted punch) were great. If you don’t know how to order your food how you would like it, please don’t take it out on the establishment. Definitely try it for yourself. Everything was perfect and we are leaving happy!"

"Ordered the T7. Lobster, shrimp and crab legs. Everything taste exactly the same…just bland. From the corn to lobster all taste like garlic flavored buttered cardboard at best. Husband had a cup of the New England CLAM chowder. It was under cooked potatoes in a rue. No clam in site or even the flavor of a clams. Seafood? Just a bag of butter flavored cardboard nothing. Server was friendly “when he came to our table” but soup didn’t come out until my meal. 100.00 down the drain…had a cocktail, no complaints there. Best thing I can say is the bartender made a good cocktail. Not into chains but so regretted not going to Red Lobster or even Outback STEAKHOUSE for seafood tonight. People behind us had a toddler, they played music at their table while the toddler ran around the restaurant at free will while the parents laid on the booth as the waitstaff clearly were friendly and kept coming over to chat and knew the toddler by name and thought it was funny and cute. Wasn’t enjoyable date night."

"I ran here for their cheap crawfish boil. $13.50 for lb of crawfish is unheard of in 2023. When I opened the bag, I was disappointed. The potato itself was about a half a pound. It was the size of my hand. Im 100% sure that was not a lb of crawfish. I must say the potato was good, not too hard or too mushy. The corn they gave me was rotten, you could taste it. And the crawfish, although in piping hot sauce, was cold. Their sauce saved the day though! They used hand-chopped, fresh garlic in their sauce. It was hands down the BEST seafood boil sauce I’ve ever had! I may give them another shot just to have the sauce again."
