Azure at EDITION 500 Channelside Drive, Tampa, FL 33602

"I celebrated a birthday with my girlfriends at AZURE back in December and we had a lovely evening at The Edition that night. This is one of the newer and pricier restaurants on the beautiful Water Street close to DT Tampa. The ambiance, service, and food were very-very good, so it's worth it. Their unbelievably gorgeous roof top / pool area is full of stunning flowers / greenery and has breathtaking views of Tampa Bay. The majority of items on the menu consist of Mediterranean things, which I love. Tuna Tartare and Grilled Octopus were delicious, but the Baby Kale & Gem Caesar was definitely worthy of Michelin-star (created by their chef John Fraser). Everyone loves a good Caesar salad but these mini, personal-sized leaves make a lovely presentation. My Lemon Drop sugar-rimmed martini was well-balanced and was made with perfect amount of Kettle One vodka. Unfortunately, this restaurant doesn't offer anything for birthdays (or at least our waitress did not offer anything to our table), but we opted in for Crispy Dough (Beignets) which had an amazingly yummy rosemary sugar and walnut honey dip - definitely recommend! Service by Kayla was top-notch as she was attentive, accurate with our order and provided a few recommendations to us. This is probably one of the better options on Water Street as The Edition is such an extravagant development that is definitely something to visit while in Tampa."

"Very cute rooftop bar. We had a great time after having a terrible time at Byblos (go read my reviews there to see how it went). So I’m glad that the drinks here were strong and delicious. We didn’t have food here but will be back to try. The music was great and the weather cooperated as well. My only advice would be to get here early because as we were leaving, there was a pretty big line to get in. Can’t wait to come back in warmer weather and during the day! Will be booking a staycation at the hotel!"

"Food was great. Drinks were pretty good too and the ambience is beautiful. Service was A+ our server was Breanna and she was great. Lamb chops were the best. It’s an expensive place to most people writing a bad review are somewhere upset about the cost. We had a great time and enjoyed it."

"The place although very nice in atmosphere and service, does feel like it's lacking in taste for SOME of the dishes. When you eat at a place like this, there can't be any misses and it felt like there was with the entree I had. The branzino filet. It lacked much harmony or simplicity to actually enjoy without having to combine every ingredient on the plate at which point you can't enjoy the flavor of each one by themselves. The filet of course (mostly unseasoned just as a note), came with a pecan cream to use, also lacked much flavor and didn't taste like it went well with the fish. The dish was hard to enjoy. The dips were all unique and I enjoyed tasting each one where they all had their place and flavor. The cheese cake as dessert was enjoyable, and although I don't usually like cheese cake, the marmalade helped. I also drank the lemonade which they seemed to have made themselves and it was very enjoyable :) To clarify- The theme for my meal was Greek, so it had lots of dips, salads, and a Mediterranean palate so to speak."

"Celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with a brunch at this fantastic restaurant! The mussels were delicious, and the strawberry gimlets were a perfect match. The server provided amazing service. We topped off the celebration at the rooftop pool, adding a touch of luxury to the day. Highly recommend for a special occasion!"
