"Lee the Way Bbq is definitely leading the way in the Tampa area for good eats! I love supporting small businesses as a hobby and indulging in pure good food. Now for my review, I love that there are so many food options/combinations and sauce flavors for the meats! Let’s start with the grill—- I’ve tried the ribs, turkey legs and chicken and they’re all seasoned to perfection and so tender! You honestly can’t go wrong with any but I’m a poultry girl so I favor the chicken options. I also love spice so I get the spicy bbq sauce or jerk wings. As for the seafood options I recommend the fried shrimp…I’m not sure what they marinade them in but it has a pleasantly subtle unique taste that I thoroughly enjoy. They also have side dishes, with my favorites being the mac and cheese and cabbage. The Mac and cheese is creamy and cheesy and the cabbage is literal perfection. It’s some of the best cabbage I’ve ever had—-it’s not soggy, delicately seasoned and has a savory taste that pairs perfectly with the grilled meats. My dessert go to is the pound cake! It’s not overly sweet, it’s has the perfect density and it’s so moist. As for the service everyone is always super friendly and accommodating. Whenever I’m allowed a cheat day I’m definitely spending it at Lee the Way BBQ. I definitely recommend you try it for yourself."
