"First thing FIRST, this” restaurant “ is ran out of a mobile home / trailer park. Whatever…. The address given is NOT the correct address! These people walk across the street to the parking lot where the address is “ listed “ to hand you the food! I ordered the oxtail dinner and honestly it was very distasteful. The oxtails were too soft and fatty, cabbage had no flavor and rice and beans were mushy and salty. FOOD DID NOT TASTE AUTHENTIC what so ever! VERY DISTASTEFUL. Expensive for WHAT? I’m not sure. A complete waste of money especially for the little meat they give. These people have you order from UberEats and give you an estimated time on the app and by the time you arrive the food still isn’t done. I continuously called to ask how much longer until done after the estimated time given and they told me 5 more minutes then that turned into 20 minutes. I wouldn’t even recommend to the damn stray cats in the parking lot!!!!!"
"I ordered a jerk chicken it was dry as hell and it came but one get one free Uber eats order and also a large oxtail that wasn’t large at all and was the most bland food I’ve ever tasted in my life. jerk chicken came with 4 wings not even enough to fill someone up I will never order here again wasn’t worth the 60 dollars at all and would love a refund."
"I don't have much experience with Jamaican food so I came here it was the only place open late. I drove there everything looks closed. I called the number and the guy said they only do UberEATS and door dash. I was about to leave when something was like call him again. So I called. Told him I'm visiting from California. We don't really have Jamaican food where I live. So he said look I'll make it for you but I only accept cashäpp or zelle. That's in itself is wonderful customer service, that he went above and beyond for me. The food. I loved the beans and rice also the cabbage. The oxtails were good. The flavor reminds me of adobo. I had Dominican oxtails yesterday. I can say his are far better. His had flavor. Theirs didn't. Plus his are tender. I can't say if I got him on a good vs bad after seeing what others wrote. But I definitely will go back. People going into weird details like something being freezer burnt etc I would take reviews like that with a grain of salt. That sounds like you're trying to channel your inner Karen to ruin this guy. He was nice to me and the food was good. That's all that matters. Others may not like it but I do and I'll definitely support anytime I'm in Florida again"
"If I can give zero stars I would. I just placed an Uber eats order that I paid $50 before any fees. On july 20, 2023z I ordered the oxtail with rice and red beans, sweet plantains and Jamaican Patties. I can’t even tell you what’s worse. Where to begin, the oxtail- you can taste the freezer burns, no flavor/ seasoning- I got exactly 2 small pieces and 1 extra small piece. It tasted gamey. Completely unpleasant and inedible. Truly disgusting. The plate came with the second worse tasting thing, wait ” I think it’s a tie”… let’s just say it came with rice and red beans and some cabbage. The rice was underwhelming. The parboiled cheap rice is over cooked. No flavor! Yup- not even salt! The beans are bland and taste like they’re a few days old. Both in a bedd of goup, and old oil. Such a shame. It’s offensive to even try to call this Caribbean food. The cabbage was a mush! Terrible texture. Again no flavor. Just adding bulk to a dish that’s trash already. The sweet plantains are not ready!!! Like Fam, how on earth are you guys selling sweet plantains when they taste closer to green banana, it’s ridiculous. Far from sweet. Awful hard and dry texture. Plus they were burnt! Yes burnt ! Lastly, the Patties- clearly prepackaged and tasted like they experienced freezer burnt as well. Not homemade and definitely overly baked smh. I am being more then nice with how my experience went. I wasted $50. Surprised they’re still in business is an understatement. Perhaps people don’t know what good food taste like? Who know- what I do know, is that I won’t even give this garbage to my dogs, trust me they eat anything. I’m a huge foodie, and I tasted pretty awful stuff but this doesn’t come close. From now on, I’ll be doing everyone a favor and sharing my experience with this place. Change of management and chef is required before I even consider going back. I’m embarrassed for them. Everyone should read the reviews before ordering- even better DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE. YOU’RE WELCOME! I should call my bank bc I truly got robbed"
