Zerillo's Pizza

"Let me start by saying excellent customer service. Your restaurant design look everything 10/10. Please don't take this as hate because I want to see your place do great. I love your NY style pizza. The recipe is just not the best. You mix in like a Marcos recipe with your style you going to make serious money. Your location is extremely dangerous, trying to turn into and leave. I can drive great, and it was a challenge for me i can only imagine a new or older driver.. People come off that corner doing 70+. I will definitely try your restaurant again in the future I want to like it but even my kids didn't eat it. They eat everything. 4 stars because I don't want to bring your rating down."

"Saw this place open up while back and been curious. Finally stopped in and it was worth it. Everyone was so nice and inside so clean, orderly and comfortable. I had a philly cheesesteak, juicy meat and melty cheese smothering the flakey soft bread. Freaking delicious! The quality and efficiency is very much appreciated. I think I've found my new fav lunch place~ Update: brought a pizza home to my roommate and he said "I haven't had pizza like this since I was a kid.. this is what pizza is supposed to taste like!" Obviously he loves it and this will be our pizza place from now on."

"The pie was delicious extra cheese and pepperoni. Well Done. Very small place. Everything I've tasted has been delicious. I lived in New York for 25 years this is one of the closest places to taste like New York Pizza."

"First time trying tonight (11/3/23). I ordered the Zerillo’s large special pizza, 6 mild wings and 6 knots. They were extremely busy and lots of customers waiting and the phone was ringing off the hook! (Great problem to have). When I placed my order they said it would be about 30 minutes. I arrived about 30 mins later and my wings were ready but the rest of the order was still in progress. About 15 minutes later I received the knots and pizza. Wings were good but because I received them first and had to wait for the rest, they were cold by the time I got home, still good though. I opened my pizza and they forgot to put pepperoni on it and also forgot to cut it. No big deal, I had a pizza cutter. They didn’t skimp on the other toppings. Big chunky pieces of sausage and veggies. I do wish the crust was a little crispier, it was quite limp. I chalk this up to them being busy and busting out orders as fast as possible. It was still tasty, lots of flavor. The knots had plenty of seasonings with a good amount of garlic flavor but not overwhelming, the dipping sauce also had plenty of herbs to be tasted and wasn’t bland. My only critique would be to slow down a tad to ensure the pizzas are sliced, all the toppings are there and try to work on timing with the orders so everything is hot or still warm when the customer brings it home. Otherwise, well done. We will be back! 2nd review: Went back on 11/15/23 and ordered a calzone. It was DELICIOUS! Mouth watering! The crust was perfection. Definitely a must try!"

"Happy to have Zerillo’s back in Tampa. This family owned restaurant recently opened and the pizza is great, Penne alla vodka is out of this world and chicken parm was terrific! Looking forward to when they get the other side open for more dine-in seating. Will def be making the drive up from South Tampa."
