"Ordered a black bean veggie supreme and a chicken crispanada, and it took 24 minutes! When I walked in, there were 2 cars in the drive thru and no one in the restaurant. The crew they had working had 2 speeds, slow and full stop. I'd hate to think how long it would have taken if I placed a full order. While I was waiting, at one point there were 9 people inside and the crew still moved in slow motion."

"We both got the $12.99 meals and it was a lot of food. The taste was good but extremely oily. The slaw was perfect. They keep it so cool there that the food got cold before we could eat it. We brought enough home for 2 more meals. If they can fix the excess oil we would eat there more often"

"Last night we ordered from both LJS AND TB. Took almost a half hour to get. Said they had to put down more fish to cook. But know it doesn't take that long for fish to deep fry. Was still very good when we got home. I went back today and service was quick and delicious."

"Stopped by for early dinner. I have always loved the food at LJS.. food was great but cleanliness issues are everywhere. Guy at the register was pleasant and responsive. Chicken and clams for me here… good deal for the money. Bathroom was pathetically filthy and smelled disgusting. There was so much dirt build up at the high chairs by the door I nearly gagged and with staff elbows on food prep area and drinking on the food line (in gloves of course) see photos. Employees on their phone which is probably why the order took way longer than it should have to make it out to me. Music was extremely loud in the dinning room. May not be back"

"My family took a trip to Tampa for our daughter’s new glasses, we made a stop at Long John’s because we live quite a distance from the nearest one. We ordered an eight piece of fish, the manager refused to give us a receipt, and when we got home we realized it was chicken. I attempted to call the store and explain the situation, but the manager refused to accommodate, stated he packed it himself, and when I asked for his name, he said “google my name.” I am appalled, as a previous employee of of the hospitality and customer service industry, I would never respond to a customer in such an atrocious manner. I attempted to call sister/brother stores and corporate is closed on the weekends. Unfortunately, my family and I spent an absurd amount of money on subpar chicken. If I could rate this zero stars, I would in a heartbeat."
