La Bamba Restaurant

"We stopped here for breakfast while visiting the area. The restaurant was easy to find as it was near our hotel. They also had plenty of parking. We ordered the Breakfast special which was quickly served. The meal was nice and hot and perfectly cooked. This is the first time I've ever received perfectly cooked over medium eggs! They were delicious and cooked to perfection. The bacon and bread was also delicious. The portions were very large for the price. Everything were very reasonably priced, great value for the portions."

"I came here many years ago and food was way different than my experience today. This place was a joke for Cuban food. First off the outside and inside of this place looks depressing and run down. Our food was so disgusting. Order a palomilla steak and I don’t know what cut of meat it was but I could only take 2 bites out of it. Had a very odd taste like it was foul. The rice was dry and the beans were over salted. Place looks so dingy inside I can’t imagine the kitchen. Just go inside and you will know something is not right."

"The special platter was recommended and is a great value. That said, if you have free breakfast at your hotel I recommend trying something different because I regretted paying for something I had available for free. Knowing where to stand and how to order was confusing. Could use some signs and/or verbal guidance for first-timers."

"Wow! Some of the best Cuban food I've had! And it's an extremely reasonable price. This is a must visit if you're into Spanish food! The employees are all very nice and friendly. And there is a lot of room for seating with side rooms that are good for larger groups as well. As soon as I saw the photos for this restaurant I knew I had to try it!"
