There various ways to order the Tostones such as like as a burger, pork, ground beef, or just an order of fried tostones but make sure to ask for the garlic sauce."

"This used to be my favorite place for salchipapa but now they barely put cheese and don’t even melt it. The guava sauce that comes with the fried cheese is more like a guava jam not a sauce which is not how it used to be either. Haven’t tried anything else again to see if it’s changed but the last two times I’ve ordered the same thing and it’s just not the same anymore."

"Stopped to meet up with a family member. I ordered by phone while on the way there so it would be ready upon our arrival. It's a cute little restaurant with friendly staff. The food is delicious! I had the fried pork chops with white rice, red bean, and sweet plantains. I also had a flan for dessert! We have been here once before and had a great experience then too. We will definitely be back again when in the Tampa area."

"Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon waited close to 45 mins (From the time I paid on the receipt) to get our food, there was no one else there so there was NO EXCUSE for the long wait. When we finally received our dishes my first impression is that everything "looked" great. As I took my first bite on one of the pork chunks I noticed it was all fat, proceeded to take another bite of three other pieces and they were also all fat.... YUCK! Terrible selection of meat in the owners part. You can't expect to charge $15 for a plate of pork chunks n fried plantains and go with cheap quality meat. I immediately brought it up to the workers and asked for a refund, I was not gonna wait another 45 mins to have it remade. I also ordered the Fried Cheese w/guava, and I was not impressed! It was this huge thick piece of cheese that wasnt even hot or cut up into smaller pieces. I did not think it was worth the $7 they charged for it. The person I went with had the Pork Jibarito and they said it was just ok. Nothing special and it also wasn't very hot. As a Hispanic myself, I can tell you that these types of dishes shouldn't be very hard to make so I don't understand how they can drop the ball. Overall, this place is a hot mess and they have many areas they need to improve on. Sadly, I won't be returning!"
