Country Boy Restaurant

"I have been here 3-4 times. This was a disappointing experience.Food was so-so and only lukewarm. The waitress was loud and I had to ask for a second cup of coffee. The place was not overly busy. It even took 5 minutes in line to cash out. It seems like Country Boy is going downhill."

"My office ordered breakfast today. First off, the lady that was doing take out was extremely rude. We brushed it off hoping the food was good since it looks like it has good reviews. We got the food back to the office and it was missing several things including sauces. I ordered a burrito and it was a soggy, greasy mess. My coworkers were missing things that were supposed to come with their order. Maybe they think because we weren’t dining in that they didn’t need to be quality…thinking we wouldn’t call back. Well, we did in fact call back and the lady that did the take out rudely told us that she DID put everything in the bag. No apologies. No “how can we fix it”. No nothing. We order out everyday and this place will not be on our list in the future. It’d be different if they wanted to try and fix the problem but they didn’t care and denied it even happened. A Gyro omelette is with no meat? Really? Restaurants and repeated clientele are based on customer service (I was a server for over a decade) and I can tell you that being rude and treating customers like crap will make you lose business"

"After reading multiple reviews my family and I were very excited to try Country Boy Restaurant. We were greeted with a smile and seated fast. But unfortunately are excitement dwindled fast. Our food was very blah quite like hospital food to be honest. We were expecting a lot more even salt and pepper at the bare minimum. I gave 3 stars because the atmosphere and service was okay. For our family of 3 we paid $46!! (this isnt including tip) for this price we expected more."

"Long time local favorite in Dunedin. We had the French toast with eggs, hash browns, biscuits, gravy with eggs and grits. The restaurant was not too busy when we arrived, but did pick up while we were there. The service was good, but our waitress only came by once after our meals were served. I'm not sure if she had too many tables at one time or not. Our food came out quickly, cooked to order and was hot. Everything was very tasty and we will definitely return."
