"This is a fantastic option for casual Mexican food. It’s more of a “joint” than a restaurant - you know - the place you go to because the food is delicious and you don’t care about having a fancy atmosphere. They have some of tastiest Mexican food in north county. Service is always good. Restaurant appears clean. There is a Mexican food market there too. Seems to always be full of Spanish speakers, which is a sign of authenticity. They’ve also kept their prices reasonable, which is helpful these days."
"The restaurant is joined to a Latin American Bodega. The food was served piping hot (good) fresh off the grill. Flavourful and authentic with a local atmosphere. I had the el pastor tacos as the daily special. Was not disappointed. The tacos came with very nice refried beans and rice and a packet of homemade red sauce (nice spice level). Definitely would come back to try the other items."
"Hidden gems for authentic Mexican food. Cheap and decent price. Taste delicious. I love their burritos and tacos so much. The restaurant looks clean, brings Mexican vibe, there’s hot sauce option to buy next to restaurant. I wish I have known this place earlier for my brunch. "Prices a little high but authentic Mexican food. Fresh hot tortillas and amazing bags of chips if you are lucky to get some before sold out. The beans are very good and Mexican tacos. The connecting store has Mexican icecreams and most ingredients you'll need for any Mexican dish. Tried a few Mexican places and this is by far the best I've found in the area. Worth a try!"
