Belle Glade Golf & Country Club

"This is by far the worst of the FMK restaurants, and I have been to all but one. After a terrible meal last year, my wife refuses to go back to this place. I gave them another chance, two actually. Came back for fajita Tuesday recently thinking, a country club can't screw up a fajita...boy was I mistaken. I sat at the bar, when the waitress came with my food, she gave it to the guy sitting next to me and said, "Here's your burrito." Really? I got my food, and I asked for a small dish so I can build my fajita, shouldn't have to ask. The waitress never came back with the plate. A couple of minutes have gone by and the bartender noticed I needed something. I asked for a small plate and some hot sauce and she delivered promptly. The rice and beans were cold and had no flavor. The steak fajita was also cold and tasteless--nothing tasted fresh. I saw another bartender reaching up to get a martini glass a she grabbed it with her thumb inside the glass and proceeded to make a drink without cleaning the glass. This place needs a shakedown, top to bottom! The only person that seem to know what she was doing was Dallas the bartender! I won't come back until they improve and I start to see some good reviews."

"Food was phenomenal. Service was just okay (not crowded at all for our 5:00 reservation, so I would not have expected to flag down our server to check on the whereabouts of our drinks, to get a box for leftovers or to get our check. Have 18% tip only because it was Christmas Eve. Atmosphere: surprised at the minimal holiday decoration and music. Some pop music playing. Very odd."

"We were able to eat out on the patio and enjoy the lovely sunset. The food was good. Reasonably priced. Service was friendly. Bathrooms were clean. I would go again. I ordered a salad with salmon. It was just right in terms of quantity and taste."

"Took my 91 year old father there for a late lunch on Sunday. Started out great when the hostess on the terrace adjusted the shades to lessen the glare of the sun. The service was exceptional. The nice young man Nick was pleasant right out of the gate. It was clearly busy and he seemed to have a lot of customers but showed he had it all under control. Very nice to talk to and he was always smiling. Smiling is a very good trait. The food was hot fresh and delicious. I had the Wagyu Burger and it was so good I had to share bites of it with both my wife and my father. Fries were excellent and fried to a crispy perfection. Nick talked my wife into getting a dessert for all to split it was delicious. We are from Massachusetts and visit my dad once in a while and we will dine there again for sure."
