"My son was here they mix the young with the older kids he was very comfortable cause they where billing him. They did nothing only kepted him in the office . He learned nothing from going to that school..not Worth"
"Worst school ever even though I got high grades it was a bad school they do not do anything against bullying they mix classes together skip important assignments teachers don't teach assignments either don't enroll your child here"
"I would not recommend this school to anyone in the area for a slew of reasons. For one, I was a student at both campuses (Walnut and after they moved to Trafalgar), from 8th grade to senior year. They didn't have much focus on curriculum and that caused me to fall behind drastically later on in life for my college years. They didn't offer dual enrollment, they had a lack of teachers which forced 10th-12th grade to be in the same class throughout the day, and they didn't even offer some of the necessary classes needed to perform well throughout college such as AP or IB classes, pre-calculus or trigonometry. I've wasted a lot of valuable learning time attending this school and wish i could go back in time. In the end, I DO NOT recommend you enroll your child here,"
"If you're looking for a good school for your child don't look this way, they don't have the necessary quality's to be considered a true school. This school in my opinion is not worth my time whatsoever. Look on folks."
"Obviously the bad reviews probably come from students who were outed of the school for poor behavior, or an adult who does not place truth as a priority. I am both a parent and a teacher at the school, and I can attest to the fact that the school does not serve junk food for lunch. Students get well balanced meals. If this were not so, the school would not have passed all inspections with flying colors. Students are also welcomed to bring their own lunches. Teachers are all certified and love working there. I have not yet heard one complain in seven years. When they leave, it is because of personal reasons and usually in good terms. If they are invited to leave, it is because poor performance on a teacher's behalf is not tolerated. Students deserve the best. As with many other private schools in the area, the premises are a bit limited in terms of a basketball court. Regardless of this, PHA does have competitive sports teams, and even a cheerleading squad. Teams use other premises for practice and compete against other schools. All of this information can be corroborated through their Facebook page as well as the website. They also have an excellent Naval Sea Cadet program. There you will see photos and plenty of reliable information on the school. Also, PHA is perfectly safe. Teachers are properly trained in CPR and First Aid. None are allowed to work if not properly certified in both of these. The premises are closed to vehicles during Physical Education. Cars are not allowed to enter or leave that particular area, (there is a gate that remains closed during PE) and visitors are forced to park elsewhere. Students rate higher than any other private school in the area on their SATs, and this could be corroborated as well. With so many private schools opening and closing within three years due to poor management, PHA has demonstrated that it exceeds expectations. It has been in business for approximately ten years now, and it opened a second campus in Kissimmee three years ago. I understand that while there is room for improvement, there is no need to lie on a public forum. The love of God is shown through and through, and we see this in the positive changes that many students go through after having been submitted to a rough public school environment prior to entering PHA. Many do not adjust well to good and positive discipline and reinforcement, because they want to continue behaving like they did where they came from. Unfortunately for them, PHA is not willing to compromise a high standard of education, ethics and discipline for a few individuals who are not willing to abide by the rules. I highly recommend Pleasant Hill Academy, and suggest anyone interested in further information to visit, not only the website, but also the premises in person. Blessings. Mrs. R."
