"We had our neighbor at the campground we are at recommend eating here. We were happy to see they had a dog friendly patio and were brought a bowl of water for our dog. The lady at the front was very friendly and told us how it worked - order at the back and they will bring it out to us. The server poured me a nice glass of wine & my husband’s beer in a glass (yay got glass, not plastic). My blacked shrimp po’boy was huge! Shrimp cooked perfectly, spice wasn’t too much & very generous helping of French fries. Very nice lunch out!"
"We recently ate at this restaurant, which was one of our favorite and go to spots whenever we visited this area. The last visit will be our last. We visited a little past the lunch hour to beat the crowds. We ordered the Grouper bites basket but the fish was as good we have previously enjoyed. The fried okra side was cold and the side of slaw was old. We got replacement side of okra and exchanged the slaw for broccoli salad. The fried okra was hot this time but tough. The broccoli salad was old and soggy, which we did not eat. We have been supporting this restaurant since the former owner of George’s started here. Since this was the second time in a row that we had similar prepared meals, will not come here again or recommend it. I think the problem is the attitude of management to accept mediocre as the standard because business is fine. There are too many other places to choose from for them to not try to compete. Until they want to be superior, they will continue to decline. We hope this attitude will not move to their new location. I will add photos when I can."
"We placed a to go order upon getting into town. After waiting 30 minutes, like we were told, they forgot to put our order in and offered a beer for an inconvenience. We checked on our order after waiting another 20 minutes, and the guy behind the counter laughed in our face very rudely. On top of the bad service, we were missing some food items and found a scooper and our tuna dip (see pic). It’s really unfortunate because we have enjoyed our experience every other time. We can look past order mistakes but when the staff is rude and sarcastic, it doesn’t help."
"The Seagrove MarketCafe’ Village was an awesome find. The prices are reasonable compared to the surrounding area and even better was the food. I ordered the Grouper Seafood Platter and it was great. It was cooked perfect and the seasoning was just right. What surprised me was the sides were just as amazing! I had the Mac-n-Cheese and the Broccoli Salad and the Broccoli Salad was way beyond any I have ever had! They make an in-house dressing for it which gave it that extra pizazz!"
