"This draw site is absolutely horrific. While signing in, an elderly woman passed out in the lobby chair. Everyone was screaming for help, but it took forever to get anyone's attention. Then the woman who came out was rude to the elderly woman. She asked the woman if she wanted an ambulance, but she declined. The labcorp employee was very rude and said she would not be drawing her labs today because she would not be liable for it. Which is totally acceptable, if you speak in a professional tone. The elderly husband asked if they had a wheelchair so that he could take his wife to the car and the labcorp employee said " No, but there are other places in here, you can go see if they have one." WHILE THIS ELDERLY MAN WAS HOLDING HIS WIFE IN THE CHAIR!. I couldn't believe the treatment or lack of , for this elderly woman in their lobby. I'm not sure what emergency protocols they have in place- if any, but they need to get some better ones. Finally, another PATIENT went to go find this man a wheelchair. They should be medical professionals but they are not. After that catastrophe the same woman called me to the window. I gave her my information. She asked me for paperwork, which I did not have. I scheduled over the phone with a reference number and that's all I had. It was a self prepaid test, so no req. I began to give the employee the number and she asked what it was. I told her again it was my reference number to which she responded " I can take your paperwork " . In the middle of a very crowded waiting room I had to describe my situation for the test, which is a HUGE HIPAA violation. She then said (very rudely)you will need to call Labcorp paternity customer service and have them fax over paperwork. She handed me a business card . I looked at my phone with zero service in the office and said to her " You can't call them?" I am a nurse and do this for my patients regularly, as it is my job to get necessary documentation from my own company to complete orders. She looked at me and said " No, not right now!" Angry, I stepped out of the building with my child and call the number. Eventually spoke to someone whom said they would fax it over. When I entered the waiting room again she was on the phone. After hanging up she looked at me and said " they are faxing it now" to which I replied "yes, because I called.". She then used her personal cellphone to make a personal call talking to someone about swimming. This labcorp is awful. Do yourself a favor and go to Quest if possible. If not, drive a little further to another lapcorp."
"The lady at the check-in window is very rude. She aske me personally qustion about my daughter that was getting blood work out in the open where eveyone can here the information. My daughter had to do a urine test and she made her wate till she was called and made her hold it for over 15 minutes. She was rude to other as well when they where checking in."
"The lab techs have always been excellent especially Nancy. I always had a very hard time with blood draws and was repeatedly stuck many times. One and done with lab corp. The plus is that it is super close to my home."
"Wait excessively long 2 hours, staff at front desk is not very customer service focus. Overall process more akin to cattle branding process line. Walk-in welcome is a 'advertising line' only... appointment is a must and even then there's a wait. Computer check-in and then apparently you must got to window too. Very confusing overall checkin process. Even technicians make a subtle point to remind you appointment are the way to go. As they call names "John Doe for your appointment ""
"Brought my young daughter here to have blood drawn. They did awesome. Staff made her feel comfortable and handled business. Couldn’t ask for more than that. I appreciate it ladies."
