"We will never buy from these people again. We needed 8 dining chairs by Christmas for a family event. Interior Homescapes showed a chair that we liked as being in stock and deliverable in two weeks. We called and double checked and they told us they had more than 30 in stock and could deliver eight chairs well within our time frame of about two weeks. We ordered the chairs on December 3rd. When we checked in the third week after that we were told they would not be delivered until sometime in January and that they could not say when. We called to cancel the order and were told that the chairs had shipped from Fourhands from their warehouse in Texas to another warehouse in Texas and that the problem was now with the delivery company. Since the chairs had not left Texas we offered to pay for shipping back to original point if they would refund the cost of the chairs. They refused, referring us to the fine print terms and conditions of sale. Technically correct but a) the shipment at that point was basically local and not even close to destination, b) most companies offer some kind of reasonable adjustment when they explicitly fail to do what they said they could and would do, and c) we made a fair offer to cover the cost of returning goods unopened and they refused so they could keep all our money. So we would certainly not buy from them again."
