"We appreciated working with Kevin McDowd as my sisters and I planned Mom's service. Kevin was compassionate, kind, willing to answer endless questions/scenarios with packages and didn't give a high-pressure push for services we didn't desire (appreciated). The one small hiccup was at the cemetary on how the grave was tended to but it was a small family cemetary and not their usual grounds crew. He was immediately responsive, took care of it and made sure we were pleased (great follow-up). We would recommend Chattanoooga Funeral Home."

When he passed this summer, the staff at Chattanooga Funeral Home, including Kara Reno, Clete Walker and Bill Owens did everything possible to hold my hand and ease the process of arranging his funeral service and burial at the national cemetery. Their gentle guidance made a difficult time so much easier to bear. "Sadly, I leave a 5 Star review for an amazing group of folks! This week my family suffered the loss of my fiance's father, Paul Joseph Holloway. As soon as we walked inside we were met by the kindest and most sincere gentleman by the name of Kevin McDowd. Immediately we felt at ease as we walked into the conference room with tear filled eyes to make arrangements for the funeral. The staff was incredibly professional on every level and graciously walked us through the entire process, explaining everything in detail. I have never given a review for a funeral home but I'm glad to have met such caring and compassionate people. It was a small service but we are eternally grateful for friends and family who came to celebrate Paul's life and his 30+ years in law enforcement here in Hamilton County!"
